Five years ago, I cannot believe that this is the first time I’ve ever seen it. What a brilliant podcast Paul Beardsley legend mate never even heard of you. Don’t even know the name right but mate you’re a legend them stories were out of this world. You’ve lived a life my mate
I remember Bees at City, he was an excellent defender in tough times. What a character.... i want to hear more kit man and decorating stories from him!
What a Character listened to this podcast loads of times lads this is by far the best just so funny, Paul beesley love to go on the piss with you... Please please get him back on just class top job lads
I've seen all the podcasts you've done and it's an excellent keep up the good work boys.great guests but have to say this one is one of my favourites what a lovely fella and a great lad.keep it up lads keep m coming
Genuinely listened to this over 10 times all the way through, best one by far! Could read the weather and make it sound interesting 😂 please get him back on lads !
I remember him at Wigan, circa 1988 ish. He had the ball, and the referee had blown, but he didn't realise. So he carried on and on, going round opponents like Messi at his best....mustve dribbled around 6 players and was thinking he was the business.....before he realised the ref had blown for a free kick. You could lip read him saying "for f.... sake!", and he calmly turned round and dribbled back again, to where he had started! Was so funny.
According to Wikipedia, the Martin Grainger that injured Paul, was the player whose tackle finished Terry Hurlock's career in pre-season whilst Hurlock was at Fulham.
Fantastic character and exactly what is missing from the modern game. Blokes that are unapologetically themselves, endless banter, great storytellers, no fucks given about who they offend. Bees, I get the sense probably could have gone further though.....helped bring Wednesday into the Premier League which eventually caught the eye of Elland Road....solid defender who maybe with more discipline could have had a longer run in the top tier....
To this day best bit for me when Paul looked at the clock at Highbury and 43 mins and 25 seconds to go and we're 2 down and I wasn't marking fucking no one 🤣🤣🤣
Haha .. "Billy (Whitehurst) had the fcuking boozer across the road from the ground. Ruined my (Paul) fcuking marriage did that. I couldn't get out !!!! Haha .. Absolutely wonderful podcast :) Fantastic lad's & loved Chris & Jon at North End X
Here are a few people I'd love to be interviewed on these podcast's. Billy Whitehurst, Peter Reid, John Burridge, Frank Worthington (if he isn't too poorly), Neil Ruddock, Terry Hurlock, Sean Gregan (I'm a Preston fan), Stan Ternent, John Aldridge, Paul McGrath, Craig Johnston, Chris Kamara, Wally Downes ...
Top man Beez, I think Chris Wilder is recreating some of that back at Bramall Lane now but hard to imagine it being as anarchic as that sounds. Classic stuff lads.
Watched this one countless times, he’s absolutely brilliant 😂
Worked on site with bees today. Absolute legend. Proper bloke .could have listened to him all day.

Went to school with paul..a year younger than me but you could tell his passion for footy..defender all day long

Lee Clarke used to be pissed up all the time in the Cav on Halifax Road when he was Huddersfield manager giving team talks to anybody who would listen
According to Wikipedia, the Martin Grainger that injured Paul, was the player whose tackle finished Terry Hurlock's career in pre-season whilst Hurlock was at Fulham.

Greyhound story is Gold
Funniest one yet 😂😂😂👍👍👍
He looks like an older version of Glen Little
Vinny jones hard man 😝 all an act.
Get billy on will have stories galore him and my dad were best mates growing up 👍🏻
Not sure who he is talking about with the Arsenal story but Kanu wasn’t there yet. Never mind the fact it was 3-0 not 6.
Now that was class, funny as.
Yeboah was Ghanaian, not Nigerian. But brilliant video! So funny. :)
A cross between David unsworth and Dracula
Top man Beez, I think Chris Wilder is recreating some of that back at Bramall Lane now but hard to imagine it being as anarchic as that sounds. Classic stuff lads.
37 Deane when he was at Sunderland
I'l tell you something am a Wednesdayite but that was brilliant
Loving these podcasts keep up the good work lads 👍
On Brian Deane
‘Joined Sunderland when he was 42’
‘42?!’
‘He was at least 40’
Joined Sunderland when he was 36 and retired within a year.
Should get Billy Whithurst on the show. He will have some storys
Read an interview with him a few years ago. Used to do bare knuckle fighting to earn some cash on the side.

Yeboah is from Ghana and that Burnley game was 93 Beezo!
And he scored the equaliser!

Great podcast
Quality that one lads defo in top 3 there bees
Nigerian? Cmon now , big Tony was from Ghana
He was right about Harry
Mc Nally he was an absolute lunatic.
Harry made George Best look teetotal.
Another beauty but what does Browny bring to it? All he does is ask about Monday Clubs & fighting.
I think he owns the microphones 😂😂😂
Loved the wallpaper story
How did the dog go in the race 😂?
Do a Billy Whitehurst podcast! Quality channel and great interview
He passed away a year or two ago, I think.
@@Thighanmighty He didn't mate, not a thing online about him been dead and Wikipedia says he's still alive.
@@SUPERLEEDSYRA I heard he had passed away. Hes from Mexborough, I'll have another look.
Another piss funny podcast keep them coming boys
Don't get bees to plug your podcast whatever you do! haha legend!
The myth about Vinnie Jones being a hard case is laughable.
Absolute Hollywank through and through....Bees whatever you think of him I reckon would clean the floor with Jones. Proper hard defender
Hilarious. Well done Paul
Whitehurst would of flattened Vinnie Jones with one hand tied behind his back.
Jones was a shithouse and like all cowards he picked his mark.
Is that the dude out of hotel transylvania?
get Paul Jewell on podcast pls
'Being a scouser he'll probably have on in his bag anyway!' didn't go down well 😂
Who are the other three?
Yeboah is from Ghana not Nigeria and the Arsenal game was 3-0 not 6-0.
Fucking brill
Cocaine is a hell of a drug
I thought he had an itchy nose...
Need to brush me teeth after this one!
Frank's looking well suits him without his parker
Its seems weird too see someone with teeth from yesteryear.
Instead of all these over top ultra white straight ones.
One bat 🦇 two 🦇 three 🦇 ffs 😂
Escobar was his last manager 🤭
That's what you call a character they don't exist anymore. You can see Parkin loves his comments.
