I’ve been sleeping in my vehicle full time since November 5. 2020 almost 3 years now and no it doesn’t “suck” it’s part of my adventure bucket lusts across America. I’ve got all these and then some including an AR-15, 12 gauge shotgun and two 9mm pistols (Glock & Ruger) for the the four legged and two legged predators I often meet on the road! Prepare America! 🇺🇸👍

I remember when people we stuck on the highway during a winter storm and most of them had nothing in their vehicles not even a blanket. Don't rely on 911 for help.
Nice set up. Got stuck in my vehicle for 27hrs a few years back. If ive got my vehicle, im not surviving, im unplanned camping. I like that Orion "Pit Flare". Thats my emergency gotta have a fire now, fire starter.

Already have all these in my car. I can stay on the couch. Plus, south Texas rarely gets blizzards, but I do have a parka in my car, also. I almost forgot - stove and fuel.

Well unfortunately I get paid shit to work my ass off and can’t afford anything other then bills and food.
You could grab a couple extra blankets and throw them in your vehicle but I surely understand being strapped for cash!

Merino wool ROCKS but learn to properly launder it if needed. (Spendy but well worth it)

NOT in my hood , I'm the crazy mean old white guy so they stay clear of me. AND my dogs. I'm known NOT to play. That's cuz it's a rough area. Lots of gang activity etc. Lets NOT forget the junkies & methheads etc. So yeah where I'm at WILL pop odd & go nuts in matter of hours. Days IF I'm lucky.

This place will snap once food ; their drugs aren't accessible. I'm in Indianapolis , Indiana so it's GOING to get bad here. NOT as bad as other places worse than some others.

I'm as prepped as I can be with no income & disabled. I could use some things BUT GOT NO way to get them. AND in NOT selling any of my firearms. The rest of my gear either. I'll need & use every bit of it when the SHTF.
