@@gabrielchin4161 oh, nono. i meant that it wasnt cooler than charon. if you have a charon paint it with uv paints and it becomes a thing of beauty. the main problem i saw in the charon was the lack of color, it just looked drab out of the box (just like this kit). using uv reactive (or neon i guess) blue, orange, and some green it now has more shelf presence than 90% of the kits on my shelves. i feel like giving this kit the same treatment would be a massive pain in the ass (and use a half gallon of liquid mask). any time they use the gold coating it becomes difficult to color match (for me anyways) and it kind of sets the kit in the metallic accent category (this doesnt look as bad as straight chrome though) and i feel like theres not much i can do with it aside from slapping the decals on.. which is why i have a shelf dedicated JUST to annoying gold accented kits (phenyx, shiki, akatsuki, aurora, etc) that i couldnt really do much with. as for the frame i didnt have much problem with charon but i am pretty meticulous in my clean up and fitting anyways.
I'm just happy it is not a metal frame. Looks good in my opinion. Is it mostly under gates, I see that the gold plate under the elbow look like it wasn't?

Not the same company, but I recently build the IN ERA+ Thunderbolt and the majority of that model was under-gated, so I would expect that 3rd party co have heard the voices of Gunpla modelers and responded by using under-gating on their models. It’s hard to see from the runners on video because he doesn’t show them close-up, but they kinda do look undergated. Like you said there’s probably some areas where it’s not under-gated, probably just to save some time/money or make a less complicated press mold during production. I think it is under-gated because so much of the gold looks unmarked in this video.
His captions at the end say “the joints are tight, and some need repairs.” To me at least, the arm joints for the wings on the backpack seems tiny and not robust so do be careful and patient if/when you are building and posing this model. I would assume since the joints are coated with gold that some of the tolerates may be a little tough, so you may want to have a knife on hand to remove the excess paint causing toughness in the joints.
Indeed the head design is either the winning or losing point for this kit. Personally I love the aesthetic of sharper heads as I was a big fan of IBO Gundam designs
