Correction: the peak of the Going to the Sun Road is at an elevation of 6,600 feet, not 66,000 feet.
One of my favorite trips ever was Going to the Sun Road in Montana in West Glacier. My first trip just happened to be days after the roads were cleared from the winter snows. Lots of wild life viewing.
We crossed the border and stayed overnight in Waterton Lakes at Prince Of Wales Hotel, too. The scenes of the lake were majestic!
My second trip was in October but we did not cross the border that time. The wildflowers were vibrant with bright red Indian Paint Grass and big white Bear Grass... magnificent. This video brings back such wonderful memories. 😍
Thanks so much for sharing!! We LOVE the beargrass in Montana!
Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing.
Great video, important travel information, and wonderful scenery. TY 👍
What? You don't like poutine? It's fries, gravy and cheese, what's not to like? 😉 just teasing of course, to each his own. Another great video! ❤
Thank you for letting us see this piece of heavenly beauty!!!
You’re welcome, and thanks for watching!
Great video, and good scenery.
Love it. Bought your Banff and Jasper guides. Doing 2 nights in West Glacier RV cabins and then 1 night at Prince of Wales before heading to the two Canadian parks this July. Your videos are especially helpful in figuring it all out. The Guides even more so!
What a fantastic trip. Thanks for sharing. Once your trip is over, we'd love it if you'd leave a review on our website: wereintherockies.com/jasper/ You'll need to scroll to the bottom.
Wow, this is epic, I have put it into my bucket list! Poutine is not my first choice as I don't like my fries get soggy.
You should! It's definitely bucket list worthy.
Matt, You said, "at a peak of 66,000 feet." 2 mins 5 seconds. That is incorrect and I'm sure you just misspoke. It's 6,600 feet. Might wanna edit that part.
You are correct, I misspoke. Thanks for watching.
Did you say, 66 thousand feet or did you mean 66 hundred feet?
Made me do a double-take, too 🤣🤣
I misspoke. 6600 feet is correct.
Which month did you visit to see wild flower ?
We were there in July.
Is this an older road trip, on RUclips it says 1 day ago 😳😳😳,hopefully this is not an older post ???
We uploaded the video one day ago but the trip was last summer. Thanks for watching.
Yea nowadays I always look for newer updated videos, but finding out RUclipsrs now days are showing more outdated videos and saying 1 day ago 😩☹️☹️😂, at least thanks for letting me know , maybe wanting to get more subscribers 🤔, but at least contacting me when I need more information, some don’t , and keep you hanging 🙏😀
"promosm" ⭐
Looks like an older road trip, video is not that great 😳☹️
