I've had sleds with and without studs. No question about the benefits of studs but there is something beautiful about sliding into a corner in the trail with the rear end skating so much fun
So funny to watch your snowmobiling content. I live and ride snowmobiles in the Rocky Mountains and the riding around here is extremely different. Have never even thought about putting studs on a sled. Love to see the difference.

Nice, now make sure you put ski covers on and a dolly for the track before you pull into your shop on the concrete or you will have some nice deep scares.
I really wish doug would do 22 j p as to what garrett did to his sand Real car make it a snowmobile Type with tracks on the back end. I can't hand skis on the front but longer than garrett's skis on his
I really enjoy the garage content, I just wish it wasn't as scripted. I like how the main channel has a idea or goal for a video but they just let it flow naturally.
I’m not a fan of studs and carbides. It’s very tiring and the carbide runners grab stuff and break your thumbs. They also make you roll it a lot more. The track is reinforced with threads that have no end and when you drill holes you cut those threads greatly reducing the strength of your track making it stretch faster. The studs often rip out tearing the track. Can’t do donuts or turn around on the road or do 180 at the gas station. Studs often end up shredding the tunnel. Studs shred the trails. Studs reduce resale value as well. But On the positive side you have an excuse why you suck when they ask. Use power to hold you in the turn not studs. Great vid anyway 👍👍
I hate the feature on phones that give you a picture high light at around the same time last year because I just got a picture recommended to me of me stuffed into a snow bank. I just hate it
Anyone notice nick said he owns a convienence store good for him man what a conasour im sorry my spelling everyone but ya im in ontario canada and would love to shake everyones hand from that channel i suport these guys till the end sutch great people they are i wish i could be able to be just ride shot gun in a sxs with the clan ive never been in a sxs just 4 wheelers dirt bikes and field cars when i was a kid but i left my farm at 11 and then at 12 my father sold my dirtbike for drugs and i havent had anything to call my own since i was a kid im 34 now and my familys mental health sucks we all dont talj to eachother we hate eachother and just mental health it sucks but ya everyone dont take things for grantit in life and ya we all gota stick togeather and suport SXSBLOG nomatter what man
i have had like 8 sleds and i probablly only have 3 hours of riding time on all of them , i wouldnt even know how those new machines ride . lol or the older ski doos , should have bought a yamaha or polaris

You guys really need to explain what’s happened to the channel. Keeping us in the dark is a bad idea. One person quits, that’s one thing, but when two major contributors leaves, it’s a big impact on the quality.

Running only center studs and a tight limiter strap you can still slide and have loose handling, but have enough control for unexpected glare ice.

Studs also wear your track out faster, come loose/fall out, punch holes in heat exchangers, create more rotating mass and etc….
At 5500 miles I have 2 broken studs and zero tear outs. I’m not easy on it either.
