    Thank you for the clear instructions. Before sewing the side seam you could cut away some of the lining if you don't want so much lining in it, and then hem or overcast along the cut edge of the lining. You can see that done in some ready made garments, the lining looks that way like a yoke.

      This dress bodice is probably getting both a skirt part and a full skirt lining sewn on. With this arrow front, I question being left with only a yoke, and not a full lining. Perhaps better saved for another project?

    I'm new to sewing. I bought a child's pattern that has instructions to roll from the bottom. I thought it meant roll from the bottom of the dress. With a little more thought and visuals, I still didn't understand it. NOW that I have watched your video, I GET IT! Wheww! Thank you !!!

    Can you PLEASE make a video about a bodice with sleeves & open button front from A toZ. Meaning which measurement to take, how to take those measurements, make a pattern out of those measurements, including any formulas you use. I, along with many others would be very very grateful !

    It would be a lot easier for me if I found your video earlier. But sadly I found this after I figured it out😔. The exact same method I use to attach the sleeves neatly without exposing the seams outside.
