Since Vouilloz/Gracia time, kids in France are building jumps, tracks everywhere possible. Spent countless teenagers' hours riding with friends and having fun whatever the weather. I think that riding culture from a young age explains partially Frenchie success.
Right, it's the power of the baguette and the stinky cheese. Long live France!😁
Stinky cheese for life.
@@RedBullBike 😂🤘
The stinkier the cheese the faster the bike goes..
1 reason... The sport is part of the culture.. =alot of people doing it in a country with a lot of opportunities.
Do not forget Anne Caroline-Chaussen! She dominated the women’s DH the same time as Nico!
As jannie longo it's french touch
Some got attitude
Some got flegme
We are what we are
Frog eater
Love this series! Always wanting more!
Same here! I don’t get why this is the last season😭🥴
we got a few last episodes in store!! 🙏 Hope you enjoy! ❤
@@RedBullBike let’s goooooo!!! Yew, can’t wait
Best spectator sport to watch, atmosphere is always buzzing.👍🚴🏴💥
nothing beats MTB racing ⚡
@@RedBullBikedoes that mean the broadcasts of your downhill mountain biking are the most watched with the most number of viewers?
I’m from the south of France and me and my mates build as many jumps and ride as much a we can but the government is not exactly behind us, jumps have been destroyed quite a few time. Otherwise riding is sick down here !
I am glad I left my home country. France is always trying to hold you back when it doesn't bring you down.
Well I am very impressed and proud of you if the government is actually trying to the riding culture.. they apparently are not doing a very good job..
on est les meilleurs ;-)
Merci pour cet hommage à ces guerriers qui déchirent les pistes et les chronos.
Enjoy this video, "french lines" is very good too and it explains some secrets...
I do not want this to stop!
The French have always been good at all kinds of racing.
Pompon is French, sponsored by Red Bull and a 2 time World Champion but not featured in this Video about fast french riders?!? 👎
It's because we have a huge playground (many mountains) and a massive bike federation
we have that here in the US (the mountains, not the massive federation) but I think many great US riders prefer to do freeriding.
@@asquare9316 yea more like rampage style
I’m from France and the secret is the baguette 🤫
The French are amazing at BMX racing as well!
One day I'll be representing France next to Loïc, Amaury, Thibault and Loris or with the next Gen I would say, but I'm gonna be as proud as they were on the podium🙌🇨🇵🔥🇨🇵
#ViveLaFrance
Get it!!! 🤘🔥
@@RedBullBike that's one goal, another one is to have your logo on my head🔥🙌😂
How's that goal going?
Because cycling is the national sport in France, second only to garden strimming! Vive Le 🐸!
@Redbull is there any chance I can get 1:40 - 1:43 at full resolution? Im the guy in the black hat giving Loic a highfive and kinda want that moment to remember
Hopefully you got Red Bull to reply in some way shape or form.. sounds like a pretty important moment that you wanted to remember for a bit..
That is the best opening to a mtb video I've seen. LMAO
These things don't win races...french people do. Love it!
Freakin Frenchies!! If its 2 wheels they winning! MTB to Road Touring. They flat out dominate! Most victories of all time as a country on bicycles in all genres but BMX.
The French have not won the Tour de France overall in a long time.
@@matthewgraham9411 we re talking about cycling, not doing drugs.
Frenchys are a little Bit nuts , all what they do , they doing IT nuts , all Kind of xtrem Sports , MTB , Moto Cross , Thai Box , Ski , Snowboard , First time when i Riidden in a france Bikepark i was very impressed , respect to the frenchys they have the Spirit of a Warrior
Nuts, and best friends with gravity..
My humble opinion: just book a vacation in France and discover yourself. You'll love it
Keep these going, let’s do another season!!!
Local riders that have access to so many trails and bike parks no wonder they are dominating. My local favorite Aaron Gwinn southern California the chain less champ 🏆
Brandon Semenuk is french?
No one knows and it doesn't matter.. actually the French win so often because their training runs are 2 to 3 to 4 times as difficult as the world championship runs.. and all the other countries should do that as well if they want to be faster and win more..
French have been good at every sport since the beginning the answer is competition not money. And that was 4 out of 5 french. They have always been very competitive
They are pretty good motocross riders and don't forget the pastries !
Great
Well it doesn’t seem to work in the EWS, the past champs have all been Aussies.
Once they bring it back to Europe and America they won’t have home advantage
on est les meilleurs ;-)
Merci pour cet hommage à ces guerriers qui déchirent les pistes et les chronos.
Enjoy this video, "FRENCH LINES" is very good too and it explains some secrets...
Its simple they have the best year round weather money and bike parks.
BMX is massively popular in France. These riders (male and female) have shredding since they were kids. Skillz to pay the billz !
Why Are the FRENCH SO GOOD at MTB? | A: Probably becuase they have some of the best places to practice!
Their federation takes it seriously - and treats it as important as road/track. Not all countries do.....
That's where you're wrong !
There's not that much real trail in France, most of them are totally illegal... So we just find some forests and build jumps, and trail to go down, to go high as much as we can.
I built nearly 4 different trails, and the authorities were never behind my friends and me...
But we do it regardless, because if we don't, no one's gonna do it for us
The federation is mainly supporting and broadcasting road biking, not MTB, and this is REALLY irritating. The french federation support for MTB is a unicorn.
Shout out to the french canadian rap song from Dead Obies
Mountain biking in the US has been a rich kid / dentist sport. If our top athletes got into cycling the French would have a run for their money.
When i Look at racer the canada ,swiss and Australien are the best
They practice at the track.
Could not agree with Evie Richards more about data. I think all athletes would benefit from listening to their bodies more than the tech.
Kates mechanic needs to rid himself of that shite moosetash!!!
am i the only one skipping the XC parts ? :))
Move to south of France, find these guys, try and keep up, become pro..GOT IT!!
i think they are better because they have more support of they federation when they are young
the Reason is definetly baguettet.
Kashima coating does not make you win
Even in bmx racing there was 3 frenchies in the olympic final
edan, 4 French riders in a same podium ... they're very proud, aren't they?
Los deportistas son buenos por los terrenos donde entrenan mayormente, terrenos muy difíciles rider buenos
XC part is so boring
the look on brooks face when they are singing the national anthem 😑
They have to be good at something
😮😮😮😮😮😮
Its been a long time !!! Vouilloz..barel ....garcia...
Cycling in America is not taken seriously enough to receive federal funding like in Europe.
Legend. There's NO serious support for MTB in France. Why everybody believes that?
Nice ending 🤟 they are just fast.. it is what it is
Cose we eat frog.... That slam bike off the trail
On est juste les meilleures en fait
Because they have a good trail period 🤘🏻
Line choice.

Daprela is going to be a Thorn this year.
Having the Alps?
I think it,s Jura+Alps+respect for sport in general.
It's crêpes man..... Not pancake
I'm pretty sure AMERICANS are the BEST

Baguette power 🥖 🇫🇷
Frenchy retired DH racer Ann-Caroline was and will always be the greatest downhiller of all times, period.
Yea i cant remember which race it was but it was raining and she had a full blown crash (separated from the bike and everything) and still won by over 8 seconds. mad.
I thought they were cowards
Still we are!!! Also we never take showers nor brush our teeth, and we rape kitties every night before ripping them :)
Well cartman said in in southpark
It's an attitude!
N´Golo Kanté La La la la la!!!
Go Kate! Go PomPon!

Allez les bleus !!
Loic bruni💯💥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It not the federation of cyclisme ??????
It not the land pathway ???
It not vision of trail ????
Wf is it....
Sure it's french accent
Having downhill and xc in the same video is like putting ice hockey and ice dancing together. Skiiip
You do know where the baguette goes if they don’t win don’t you, that’s why they win, nobody wants that.
Possibly performance enhancing drugs 🤫
Next video: Why are the SWISS the FASTEST at MTB? :)
Anyway, Great episode again I love this series and the French rider too!
Because the have mountain ranges, simple.
