I think it's well deserved. DV&LM had the best show at Tomorrowland imo, Hardwell's show was really good as well. Hardwell or DV&LM should be #1, I don't care which of the two. They are both very good.

I feel like i have the unpopular opinion that DJ's shouldn't be judged just by their ability to mix properly. I feel like a much bigger part of it is their ability to entertain. Song choice, in my opinion, is equally important to mixing ability. This is why DM & LM deserved to win. People like Carl Cox aren't anywhere near the top because their sets are boring af, but because they know how to mix seamlessly and play a more 'underground' sound, they are judged to be better dj's than dj's who mix more mainstream music.. which is BS.

In my opinion, the only way you can officialy be the number 1 dj in the world is that you compete in a worldwide competition with real dj's as judges and get first place in that competition, then you are officialy number 1, but that still doesn't mean they are number 1 in your opinion.. I feel like i have the unpopular opinion that DJ's shouldn't be judged just by their ability to mix properly. I feel like a much bigger part of it is their ability to entertain. Song choice, in my opinion, is equally important to mixing ability. This is why DM & LM deserved to win. +Savage yeh, I'm going to the DV & LM show in Belgium in december, and then this list came out and my mate texted me, dude we're going to the number 1 dj's of the world!! the first thing I told him was, they're not number 1 in my opinion.. they just advertised the shit out of themselves. Martin Garrix once said that he doesn't care that much bout this list, like, he loves being 4th (at the time) but he didn't advertise for it and he never will advertise as much for it as others do.. and he's still number 3 lol

In my opinion, the only way you can officialy be the number 1 dj in the world is that you compete in a worldwide competition with real dj's as judges and get first place in that competition, then you are officialy number 1, but that still doesn't mean they are number 1 in your opinion.. There really can't be a number 1 dj, it's just a skill that's not so easily compared to eachother.. if you know what I mean :D
