TheSnapChick Hi SnapChick. I ordered these Keen Uneeks for my wife and me 10 days ago with weird results. Keen ships Fedex Ground, which for Hawaii (and Alaska) means 10 days! Yesterday her sandals arrived and she is still evaluating them. This morning I got an email from Keen that they are sold out of my pair! "Sorry" they wrote. Why couldn't they tell me that 10 days ago? So I ordered a pair from an Ebay seller and will eventually let you know how I like them. So far, all I can say is LOL, Meh!
Here is my update: My brand new Uneek sandals arrived from an ebay vendor (yay). Bottom Line? Excellent! They feel like not much on my feet, yet act like a shoe when I walk. I do understand why you want to wear them all the time - 1. so comfortable and 2. They are kinda hard to get on so why take them off? They are perfect for the tropics with total airflow. My wife, unfortunately cannot wear them. Her poor feet were covered in knot marks. So they will go back to Keen. But I'm keepin' mine for sure! Thanks for the tip SnapChick!
Last few years were the best years with many photoshoots and more. Since then this channel is becoming more of a life video log. Maybe interesting for some but not for most...

Great company, I have Keen work boots and they're durable and very comfy.
They do seem to be a great company. Before I received these, I went to a store to browse their different options. Very high quality stuff!

If you are out hiking on a dirt trail, won't dirt and rocks get in?
It really depends on the trail and what you're comfortable with. Dirt can get in... and come out as easily. A more rugged trail might require some more protection. Around town and on improved trails, I had no problems at all.

What is this got to do with photography? To me, this is as if i was watching a commercial. more and more of your content is just plain advertisement. The next video will be about the car you're using to drive around, or your fridge you use to store the food you eat ( after all, if you don't eat, how can you have energy to take photos, right?). This is Sad.
Feedback is always welcome :) My channel tends to emphasize photography, but it has no one specific topic or theme - it's about photography, modeling, gear, and an active lifestyle. If you watch for photography, that's great! When you see a video with 'Weird new Sandals' in the title, it may not be a video that suits your style - and that's ok, too :)

Because she very specifically mentioned she is on her feet all of the time being a photographer.
*sigh* With all the ads I run into (including the ones on your videos), I am not sitting through a two minute and twenty-three second commercial for ugly sandals that will unevenly heat your feet when out in the hot sunlight. Further, they cost $100, come in a small selection of ugly color combinations (mostly black for guys, which will totally absorb heat), and would better be replaced by a pair of shoes. I mean, who climbs on big rocks in sandals (besides you at the end of the video)?
I personally make it a point to avoid buying products simply because I see them in an advertisement, even one done by one of my top 50 favorite RUclipsrs.
Just providing a counter-argument to create a little balance. On the other hand, I think it's cool that you're at the point where companies want you to advertise their products. It's all part of moving up successfully on RUclips. Even though I find ads annoying, and their mostly wasted on me, I still congratulate you on being noticed by such a company.
I appreciate all comments, including both sides of yours. If I don't like something, I send it back and don't make a video. These feel great on my feet, no heat problems (it will be 113 F today where I live). If I had tried them out at a store prior to this video, I would have purchased them. In fact, the gear that is demonstrated in many of my videos was purchased by me. I am passionate about gadgets and gear and share what I learn about them. These sandals are truly unique (or UNEEK) and are certainly not going to meet everyone's preferences. Comments always welcome and I am glad to have you a as a viewer. :)
TheSnapChick Of course, the negative things I said are coming from someone who hasn't tried them. But people have different styles and tastes. I still love most of everything else you put out, so whatever =)
