I find comfort in videos like this because they weren't afraid to present it to their small but growing community. They didn't care what other people thought about it. Now their videos today seem so sterile. They aren't as silly as Brotherhood 2.0 or even 2008. I think they feel confined by their subscriber count, as if they feel like they can't express themselves as much. If videos like this returned, it would show that your subscriber count doesn't determine how professional you are.

Please tell me there's someone out there that knows what I'm talking about in this comment. There's a show called Whose Line is it Anyway and during the years 1998-2003 it premiered on ABC Family with Drew Carey as the host (It's still on but on a different network under a different host). Anyway, there's this came called "Scenes from a Hat" which the actors act out as many scenes as they can think of in a suggestion from the audience pulled out of a hat. One of those suggestions was something along the lines of "Cities that will never have a song made about them" and one of the scenes, made by Ryan Stiles, was Butte, Montana with his rendition being "it's pronounced 'Bute' not 'Butt' Montana." Please tell me there's someone out there that knows exactly what I'm talking about!
That is so cool! I wish there was a project where we all made songs about different places we traveled to that named all the parts specific to that place. Then whenever we met someone from that place we could be like WOW! That place is really special!
Been there... Drove through Butte, then spent a week in Heart Butte, which is in the heart of nowhere. An hour from the nearest walmart. Loved spending time in Big Sky Country, though.
I've been there sooo many times on road trips but I've never noticed any of these things. I'll have to look out for them when I drive through next time.

And, Butte has an outdoor, refrigerated long track ice speed skating oval! Who else in North America can say that? Well, Roseville, MN has one that is a little bigger. And then Salt Lake City UT, Calgary AB and Milwaukee WI have enclosed ones that have faster ice. But Butte's has a nicer view! :)

Been watching vlogbrothers from the beginning these last few weeks. As awesome as the longer songs are, this is by far my favorite song to date.
After having heard this song, every time I drive through Butte, MT, I chuckle.
