Forgive my lack of knowledge but why not just start at the furthest point at the injectors?
That’s what I was saying too
If the air is trapped way back by the filter or pump, it can take a long time and a lot of cranking to push that air all the way down the line until it clears out through the injectors! But you can do it that way
I have a Mitsubishi D 2000 that won't run in high. What could be the problem ?

I did not run MY DIESEL out of fuel I had to remove to FUEL TAKE to clean it out then it did not want to start after that
Sounds like you ran it out of fuel
