A viewer told me I needed to add a link so people could buy me a Beer or Coffee when they are so helped, especially financially by my videos, so here it is Thanks π: www.paypal.me/marksreviewstut... - Π₯ΠΎΠ±Π±ΠΈ
I have attempted this on my soft top SUP! Really hope it works!!!
Great Video, Thanks for this as I have a few boards that I paid over 100 bucks for but they seem to delam just like the 30 dollar boards. Great DYI fix. Thanks Again.
So glad it helped.
Using the same stuff to fix tailpads on Surfboards. It does do the job. Only problem is it's to sticky to get an even spread for larger areas, like foamboards before it starts drying (which is probably less than a minute).
Any videos on painting or dying the foam part
You just saved me 80β¬ Thanks a lot!

I'm curious, how did this fix hold up over time? Does the construction adhesive hold long-term?
Held up great π
Still solid after multiple trips to the surf
What's the hard bottom made of?
I've got a couple foamie surfboards that I want to fix up. The foamie top layer came off from the styrofoam. I have two questions:
1. Is your boogie board made of styrofoam? (It looks like little balls of foam)
2. Is there resin in the liquid nails? Does it say polystyrene or epoxy on it anywhere?
I'm asking because my boards are styrofoam inside and polystyrene will melt styrofoam.
As long as its pu adhesive it wont melt the eps expanded poly styrene or styrophoam as you call it i use CT1 grip and bond adhesive or puraflex 40...hope this helps
I have a table that bent. the tail and the front touch the water. He lost the rocker, it is flat but the nose bends in the water. How can i fix this? I am afraid of using heat and that bubbles will come out or it will come off. I don't know if it has a string.
tiene rocker negativo. para invertir el rocker, se mete a un horno de aire caliente y al salir se forza un poco hacia rocker positivo (pocos segundos dentro del horno ) muchos no tienen solucion
Silicone adhesive would probably work better and less messy
Yeah tried that and it (Silicone) came off instantly. MRT. I mentioned that in the video.
BIG ISSUE with construction adhesive and foam is that often the solvents in construction adhesive will dissolve foam. Two things you can do:
1) hope you get lucky like Mark's reviews and get a safe combo of foam and adhesive.
2) look for foam-safe construction adhesive - each brand makes a version to work with foamboard. They are usually latex based, no solvents. Locktite PL-300 is foamboard AND exterior rated, so I'll go for that one.
My daughters bodyboard got bubbles and I cut them in squares, remove de square part of surface foam, added liquid nail just for foam and waited a whole week for it to dry and today we went to the beach and guess what the garbage did not stand the water it got like if I had just added it so it does not work and I am gonna try with hot glue intead next time
todos los componentes se soldan con aire caliente
The construction adhesive I used (liquid nails) dissolved the foam of the board! π
Yes some foam is like that. Sadly some boards have very poor quality foam
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials use a heat gun
@@Marksreviewsandtutorials No, it's not the quality as in good vs bad, but the type of foam. Many construction adhesives will dissolve certain foams. Choose one that indicates it's good for foam. They actually say so on the label or in the name.
Hot glue gun
Painters tape
But if this glue is safe for the foam core-cool!
trabaje en una fabrica; todos los elementos se pegan con aire caliente. usa una heat gun
Thanks!! I am going to be doing Liquid Nails construction tube on the bottom slick this weekend. Also, just sharing ebodyboarding had recommended hot glue in their video ruclips.net/video/93Dz2nnYZKc/Π²ΠΈΠ΄Π΅ΠΎ.html&feature=emb_title
don't use any kind of glue pleaseee use a heat gun
