The Fraserburgh 400 Historical Pageant on 5th July 1992.
The pageant was the brainchild of Betty McDonald and Henry Duthie. Three years earlier the pair had decided to a create a procession of people in elaborate and colourful costumes which would depict the history of Fraserburgh.
Crowds began arriving early to see the parade with over 800 performers taking part and here are some of the scenes before the 2pm start.
