Kevin Feige Confirms Fantastic Four is a Period Piece Set in a Different Timeline

In the first episode of the Official Marvel Podcast, Kevin Feige shared that the upcoming Fantastic Four film will be set in an alternate universe in the 60's. He also shared the date on which filming will start.

Makes sense to add them to MCU. I would have crossover with X-men in a trilogy and arriving in MCU after losing

Honestly I think if someone didn’t care about the movie this news wasn’t gonna change their decision. And I don’t know how many people will stop going because of this. If people don’t go it’s because marvel has been… let’s just say disappointing lately
