It's weird how going on a safari and slaughtering animals is the best way to level up. I built a base on Pyraas VIII-a and set up a killing field using 12 animal farm buildings. It gets xp really fast, but it has a downside - the corpses take 2 hours to despawn so after a couple of levels the place becomes hard to see what is still alive. Also it uses a lot of ammo.
This is easy to solve. When the aliens are no longer appearing, leave the animal buildings broken, go into space. As soon as you return, all the bodies disappear and you can go back to farming. However, I think it's faster to farm only in 1 building. You can earn 528 xp in less than 10 seconds for each repair. Regarding ammunition, if you want, you can make the weapons in the chests glitch. You make hundreds of ammunition in a few minutes.
I do a similar farm there with 8 buildings. However I go in and then out of build mode and highlight each building and tap the right bumper to repair each building. It’s quick and easy once you figure it out. 🙂
What I have been doing on Xbox is building an Outpost and build an animal husbandry then the animals spawn and i get them, then go to the terminal and click on any resource to make and press B to back out and they all respawn. I have been getting 1 level every 10 minutes real time.
I've farmed all of those and Cerebrai III doesn't seem to have very consistent higher level creatures (even when setting it to very hard before landing) you tend to get a big flock with maybe one lvl 70 beetle, one or two level 45s and a bunch of lvl 1,5 or 20s. Which is annoying because it's definitely the best for finding consistent groups
I did find this strange occurrence where if you place an outpost with a cargo link you will get a gigantic herd of the beetles clustering below it because they get stuck against it. The largest I encountered was about 50, even though they were mostly lower levels there were still a good amount of level 45s and 70s. I made a chain of 6 outposts with cargo links in the hills region and will just do the fast travel to each, kill the herd and move to the next.
You make a heck of a lot more XP by boarding the Varun ships and killing everyone inside. The ship itself is pretty expensive, and there's so much gear on them
I have a mod installed that messes with the leveling curve so it doesn't take as much xp to level up. It could affect the actual values? However as long as you are playing on a higher difficulty it should spawn higher level enemies for comparable xp
Have you been able to find a way to get the chance to see your other verants in the game if so can you do a guide on how to do so if possible or is it really just random
Great content. But not mentioning NG+ and how it impacts leveling and skill progression is a massive oversight. Starfield is only a 300-level slog; if you choose that arduous path.
Yep, the rewards for many side missions is terrible, they need to sort this out. I also think just mowing down animals needs nerfing, in line with better mission rewards. I think the more of one type of animal you kill, the xp reward should scale down, until it's 1 xp. It's dull after a while and feels cheap to just bag 100s of animals for gains.
It kills me that 75 is the highest planet systems. Especially when we can level up our character as high as we want. I like the exploration of this game but wished they wouldve has a bestiary and some legendary fauna and even flora. This game is massive. Im on my 1st run with over 330 hours and am level 70. Just wish there was more to do like more quests and different enemies to fight cause im tired of spacers/Pirates/Ecliptic.
From what I understand Bethesda will be fully supporting this game for the next 5 years hopefully this means we will see several expansions come out later. Also next year we should see them release modding software for both PC and XBOX. 😀
@@killablackmambakbm7593 i think you need zoology level 1. You scan 100% the animal you want to farm. Then a build an outpost with a bunch of animal husbandry buildings. If you scanned to 100% more than one farmable animal on that planet, after u build the structure, you have to interact with it to produce the resource that the high xp animal gives. Animal husbandry building level 1 is fine. Higher health animals = more xp. So pyrass 2 exorunner (savana and sandy desert) = 103xp. Huygens 3 vectorback (deciduous and tropical forest) 158xp. Bethesda made a few huge mistakes in this game that has caused me to play other games and lose interest. One HUGE one is without mods, leveling is redundant and rewards have little value in this game. The quests should net you thousands of exp if not more. Also the perks are really unimaginative and half of them serve no purpose while the others don't lend themselves to a specific play style or have any character. The gear in this game also has no character, there are weapons and boost packs that are good and the other ones are just garbage. Not enough distinction of balance in terms of play style, recoil, ammo usage, power, accuracy, mobility, fire rate, everything that should be in an fps. Games like MW3 ideally strive to make weapons all balanced and to let people's personal preference and skill determine their effectiveness, not just the base stats. Also they need to include abilities rather than straight stat buffs like good RPG's are suppose to. Like Dragons Dogman, Diablo, and even Destiny gives you a few builds to choose from. And let your gear support your style.
LOL If you think this XP is weird you should check out the levelling in Conan exiles. 100XP for killing a Crocodile (might be less) 10 XP for killing an armoured human being.

I found out about this trick as well, while good to farm lots of exp quickly I think it's more fun walking around looking for packs of animals
