In this video, we are talking about a very important aspect of EBT otherwise known as the electronic balance trans cards that low income individuals get who receive snap benefits also known as food stamps or food assistance for the low income. Each month, snap benefits or food stamps are deposited onto the EBT card so the beneficiary can use it at participating grocery stores for necessary food items. However, these cards need some massive reform and that's what we're talking about in this video as some studies have been released showing that these cards are already costing low income beneficiaries $62 million as of right now. this is in regards to EBT, food stamps, low income, food assistance, supplemental nutrition assistance program.

Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the last. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. Took my food stamps away because they said I reached the income over for stamps but raised my medicaid spend down from $70 to $1,030.. UNBELIEVABLE. They can keep that medicaid, how am I supposed to live
I get a ucard through united health care but u have to have Medicare and medicade
If u have medicaid and medicare u can get a ucard to help buy groceries ot utilitys
Because they want too give the illegals all they need ,you don't believe me look at the brand new cars are the Grogery stores with bugges full, and we stuggels for gas and food not counting are utilities bills.

they do not need to change it all at 1 time as people renew they get the new card or if u are replacing a lost card

I get $24 with 16 yr old. Calif gov cut when COVID hit. Only $1800 a month income. Expenses $1600 rent utilities.

I'm not on Medicare, im on medicaid idraww 60 in snap I qualify for no subsidies

These idiots should have done this at about the same time credit and debit cards started using this. They have screwed themselves out of this $62 million. It never would have happened if our cards had the chips long ago.

As long I don't have to go across town to replace it. I was just over there three months ago. Still trying to recover from a long set of hiking and bus runs five days ago. Too sick to be doing that in hundreds degree weather.
