Kenpachi based off of the trailer but there's no way it's not also Ywach given the whole 900 years, 90 years, 9 years, 9 days thing he has. Would be such a missed opportunity for the 9th anni

My guesses
1. If you look at the ground closely in the beginning of the trailer, you can see frosts moving from left to right. This may mean either Rukia or Toshiro (but I'm more biased to Rukia)
2. 8:55
If that explosion means Bambi, I feel like the next scene where ground cracks could also mean Sajin (Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō Dangai Jōe). Perhaps it was implying how Sajin was getting slashed / bombed by Bambi, until he released his new Bankai.
3. And yeah, Kenny. Last time he showed up as a character was from SAFWY. So it's been a while. Also ofc the slashes and cracks at the end. It's just so Kenny vibe.
Also I think it's going to be 1 character banner. Every sequence of 3 years (and I'm not counting 1 and 2nd year), we always got 1 character and was not Ichigo. The rest, was always 2 character banner, with one of them being Ichigo.
yeah I agree that it will be another 1 anniv character this time, having renewed mugetsu feels like the artbook at the time anniv aizen drops. As to who it is tho, idk but fosho 1 anniv unit.
Cracks can also be a reference to Senbonsakura, its a stretch but it could work so they didn't gave it away instantly so people still could speculate.

Well the ice in the background is when Yhwach invaded the soul society in second time🤨 and we already have op Yhwach so it can't be Yhwach because I never seen a sternritter anni so my guess is either Sajin or Kempachi.

The crack can hint at rukia's Statement about her Being so cold to make the ground move with a ICE quake
Mugetsu was pre round 1 so rukia is actually round 1 bcs of the black and white comparison and both are Essentially Just one big attack
blue explosion , could be Bambietta but we already got a base Bambi so im crossing her. so it couldnt be Gremmy's clone explosion. Frozen buildings , could be Rukia. looks like there are quincy arrows there , and then there's a crack which points at when Kenny broke out of the ground after rescuing Yachiru.
Also the frozen building could be zombified toshiro
The video depicts a series of fights in the anime so I think it’s portraying Yhwach and haschwalt looking over everyone. So hopefully original designs for them

the fisr seconds of the trailer might hint at gremmy clones , if not i think it reffers to shinji bankai , if we look at 8:59 , the slash is followed by an explosion , and i dont think a sword can cause an explosion so most likely it is an arrow fom a quincy , like the ones who killed each others due to shinj bankai

It's from yhwach vs ichigo (full bring bankai)
The color of slashing they use is similar to the one ichigo used in fighting yhwach.(More clear when ichigo use Getsuga tensho)
You can try and watch it again in TYBW part 1.
And the ground splitting scene is like from kenny vs gremmy.
If this anniversary were split into part 1 & part 2 like before, part 1 may be (ichigo & yhwach) and the part 2 may be ( kenny & gremmy )

I'm guessing Toshiro or Rukia. As much as I'd like it to be Toshiro, its most likely Rukia, the cracking of the 9th Anniversary at the end can resemble Rukia after she beats As nodt and her face begins to crack while in her Bankia. Then at the 8:30 time stamp in this video if you pause it, you'll notice an eye of which very closely resembles Rukia's eye. So my gues is Bankia Rukia for sure is in the anniversary.

It is completely based on gremmy vs kenpachi because the blue explosions in the start was when gremmy cloned himself and exploded at kenpachi (post shikai) and the cracking of the floor is based on zaraki getting out of the ground after getting stamped by that one giant hand gremmy summoned, its definitely gremmy and zaraki
thinking either gremmy vs kenpachi ( due to the floor seperating) , or ywach vs fullbring bankai / true bankai ichigo (due to the slash and the shattering effect on the words) that ice might suggest a rukia though really deserve a bankai rukia and a as nodt but there wasn't too much indicating that unless round 2....

My guess is that this trailer is showing off 2 fights simultaneously, one being Rukia's and the other being Kenpachi's. So my guess is Bankai Rukia and Shikai Kenpachi.

Zaraki and Ywach would make sense. I can’t imagine a Rukia tbh. I would like Mayuri because there’s a lot to work with tbh, or give him a new version in general. Toshiro Byakuya would be cool but they feel even less likely.
Dont think its Kenny for a few reasons...
The streams of light crossing back and forth look more like projectiles being shot around, as opposed to clashes of swords. Kenny doesn't shoot any projectiles and neither does gremmy (not counting the guns)
Also, sure the ground cracks and splits open, but so does the "9th Anniversary" logo. If its possibly kenny/gremmy, why would they be putting so much emphasis on that one specific part of the fight where the ground splits? So much so that it would even inspire klab to also put cracks and fractures on the words for "9th Anniversary" as if that was a big highlight of the fight or it would make for a good hint?
I think we should be looking alot more into the reason why the 9th Anniversary logo is all cracked and fractured. That has to mean something and i dont believe it ties to Kenny.
I agree we should give more attention to the cracks. The ground cracked and the word cracked at the end makes much more sense if Ichigo or Yuhabaha is one of the anniversary characters. When they are fighting, the ground cracks. The word cracked at the end of the trailer could be a reference to Ichigo's zanpakuto being broken.

the cracks in the end is from the armor of his bankai breaking (in the episode you see it cracking up badly before the armor falls apart)

I don't think they'll do Bambi and Sajin for an anniversary banner. Probably mid or end of month banners. I the 9th anniversary character is between Rukia, Zaraki, Gremmy, or possibly Yhwach due to the 900 year prophecy.

If you fucus on the slashes, the cracks and the floor anything with it says that it's rukia, and if you noticed that both rukia ( in bankai form) and ichigo ( with mugetsu form) they're completely changed, in terms of power or the design
+ rukia have a huge fanbase ( at least higher than ishida who's the 7th anni character) so she deserves to be an anniversary character

I know no one expects a new Ichigo anymore, but this trailer makes a lot of sense if it's him. When Ichigo and Yhwach fight, the floor cracks. As they fight, several colors appear on screen: blue (Yhwach's powers), black (Ichigo's reiatsu), and red also appears. These colors are also present in the trailer. At the end of the trailer, the word 'Bleach' cracks which could be a reference to Ichigo's broken zanpakuto. And the setting at the beginning resembles Rukia's fight.
Judging by all the frost and ice in the background it could be toshiro or rukia. It could be adult toshiro because if u go by the cannon manga material he is one of the most broken characters in the whole series, so obviously he is an anniversary worthy character.
But i have been thinking that, its jus a hunch, but it could be gerard Valkyrie as well with toshiro because their battle was legendary and gerard and pernida are the only ones from the schutzstafel who have not been there in the game yet.

I'd say yhwach due being the wandereich and being the 9th anniversary, Jugram or Kenpachi also seems like a good option, but i highly doubt that they would make any of them a solo anniversary char.
This one might be a wild guess, but renji also seems like a valid option to me, don't ask me why, but this trailer reminded me of his fight against mask de masculine
Also the fact that they showed the wandereich makes me suspect that will be a canon char (when they make a original char the trailer is usually more conceptual, don't show specific locations or scenes)

nodt is not in the "guess the character" pool. So rukia and as nödt is not possible.

@@Nyxx-02 Because thats how Wandenreich City looks all of the time, people are really overplaying the frost aspect. It's not impossible for it to be Rukia but the Frozen Quincy City is just as much of a confirmation for her as it is for any person from Wandenreich.

I really hope to god it’s not canon to the anime. I love the original designs for the characters which is what made the anniversary units so hype. Doing anime stuff is just meh and can be done anytime. I like it when Part 1 is original design and Part 2 is anime. Please keep it at that! Maybe we get Sternritter Ichigo?! That’d be dope!
I'm thinking a one character banner with Yhwach. Could be two characters with Yhwach and Rukia.
I feel like it has to be jugram and someone. The music nor the slashes feel like zaraki. What im troubled with is the other guy.

I am sticking to my gut and say yhwach even if not a super great fit
could be Kenpachi or Yhwach or Rukia or Renji. both fought like that but Ichigo vs Yhwach during raining day but not Kenpachi, Rukia and Renji. From the name list, Rukia and Renji doesnt have their rival As nodd and Mask but Kenpachi has Gremmy. Either Yhwach or Kenpachi. This anni the same hard as last year. Idk who. Might be Kenpachi, but my heart wish it was Rukia but my guts said Yhwach. My guessing wit the ice and ost 9th anni will be Rukia.
