Play is the work of young children. It is the most natural manner in which they how they develop cognitive, physical, linguistic, socio-emotional, and aesthetic skills. They learn how to problem solve and and discover through play action. Through play, children learn about the world around them by testing their ideas, manipulating things in their environments, and by interacting with others. Exploration and active play helps children to engage in diverse situations and problems in creative ways as they learn about the world in which they live.
