Can you make flat pattern after for production ?

Can you give me any info on how you made a flat pattern drawing of this? Every time I try a flex or any twist I cannot get a flat pattern of it. I can only get a flat pattern with bends in Solidworks. It has been a pain trying to find a way to twist a part and be able to produce a flat pattern
