Recently I have been intrigued by your videos of these beautiful boats. Im from the U.S. and I’ve Never heard of a narrow boat before but now I see the light. Definitely adding owning a narrow boat to my bucket list!

I like don't usually like tugs (for living. They look awesome) but I really like this one. Well done.

So the boatman’s cabin, traditional with this design would have been a commercial industrial craft this is were the most senior member would have berthed with the rest of crew berthing forward of the engine room in what is usually the salon and galley. But it would have likely been a single bed or maybe two bunks for the engineer not the convertible double bed for consenting adult as displayed here in this reproduction?
I’m just trying to get a sense of what’s historically accurate and what’s modification to the design to convert it from an commercial industrial craft to a recreational residential craft

Where is the bed? I don't see it, only a pretty long couch...

It's a 4 ft 6 inch drop down bed in the boat mans cabin

You build it each night from 3 bits of covered foam. Not orthopaedic, but some like it for the nostalgia. Me, I'd rather be comfortable than live unnecessarily uncomfortably in a bygone era.
