What happens if a mutual fund app like Groww, Paytm Money, Coin, etc shuts down permanently for a reason, what will happen to the money which I invested through this app?
When you invest in mutual funds, your funds are finally used by the AMC to give you units. These have your name on them - nothing can happen to them. The portals like Groww, ETMoney, etc are just platforms that enabled the transaction - the actual transaction is with the fund house. You should get hold of the statement with the folio number and units allotted.
