Update: Lost access to my RUclips but 1 year and abit later... I've further lost weight and now at 68kg... The water fast definitely has helped to change my eating habits and lifestyle. @@AR-82 I took small doses of magnesium and potassium. I didn’t really do a lot of sodium though - very little. I went the entire 21 days lost 30 lbs and felt amazing the entire fast. I’ve managed to keep the weight off as well.
I have tried water fasting many times in my life, but I fail after only 3 days. But a year ago, in 2022, I tried hard to lose weight before my university graduation ceremony, but I was suffering from depression, but I made a promise to myself that I would resist and succeed in water fasting. I was able to complete 21 days and lose 14 kilos, my appearance changed, my face became much more beautiful, and my nose became smaller as well. 🤣💕 Now, in 2023, I have returned to fasting again on day 5, and my goal is 30 days.
The hardest part of prolonged fasting for me is probably the first 3 days. I get all the headaches, heart burn, cravings, my mood is always bad and i dont get enough sleep. Planning to restart my 40-day fast after watching your video. Thank you
wow way to go, I agree with the first 3 days. Totally comfortable now except for some detox symptoms, nothing major. Today is my 21st day of water fasting. I've had prior experience and have done an 11 day fast before but this is my longest. I've cycled through 3 x 48-60 hr dry fasts . Lost 33lbs in 21 days. My goal is 40 days. Best of luck!

@2:18 training the mind for long term stabilization is where I failed. I went from 245lbs to 160 lbs. family and friends were not happy and they made comments about how I will gain it all back and that’s exactly what I did. I was so hurt from all the jealously from family I eat like a mad dog. Not sleeping eating all night and day. I am back to 180 lbs in just two months. Planning to start again. Hopefully with meditation and resetting my mind to loose the weight permanently. I also eat each time I stressed about anything to don’t feel anything. My plan is to switch my mind to drink water every time my brain tells me to run for the food to take my mind off whatever insecurities I am feeling.
Sadly I am at 192 lbs today. So happy I posted here so thanks to you, I can revisit this. I did not follow through with the water instead of food. It’s really difficult to switch the mind up to drink water instead of eating. It’s like alcoholic or drug addiction. I have food addiction. I wish I have water addiction 😂😂🤣🤣 My plan to do NLP or hypnosis to hypnotize myself into drinking water when the insecurities comes up. Thank you for asking. How are you doing?😊 P.S. I have one trick, I drink ginger tea now through out the night. Just add hot water to powder ginger and add honey for sweetener.
@@rakibulislam5661I only lost about 4 to 5 lbs in the first month. The second month about 7 lbs. It wasn’t until after 5 months I started loosing about 10 to 12 lbs a month. I got to day 14 on water only and then drinking salted water and a spice hot water. Basically I boiled a pot of water add a pinch of 7spice and a teaspoon of salt. I did that for almost a month and then started adding vegetables. I did just cabbage and zucchini for about 2 months. Then just chickpeas. One can of chickpeas to a pot, add one cup of water, when it come to a boil add parsley, a whole bunch and salt to taste and a pinch of seven spice.

I drink à ginger/ cinnamon tea to avoid tea or coffee with milk. I use a 1/4 teaspoon of powder ginger and cinnamon add hot water. I use a large size cup but you can use less ginger if you have a regular size cup. I also make a spicy water. Boiling water in a pot add a sprinkle of a 7 spice mix and a teaspoon of salt. I drink this when I have the craving to eat. Other times when I can’t stand the taste of water, I would add lemon to my water. Hope this helps. Good luck❤
I went from 270 to 168, then slipped up from a bad relationship, and now I’m back up to 191. So now I’m finna water fast for 30 days so I can drop to 150. Then everything will be in moderation from there.

Well done keep it up the longest I’ve done this for was 15 days back in 2018 and it’s right you do feel a lot better and it’s true the hardest part is the mental game when you can feel your will power decreasing and all you want to do is eat comes to a point you even start dreaming of eating food 😂😂😂 in the end tho it’s all worth it providing you don’t have any medical problems that would prevent you from doing this It’s also true you can put it all back on and more ! This is only because after fasting you tent to want to eat a lot so to prevent the weight gain again it’s self control and exercise basically can’t go back to your old eating habits But great video :) I’m a new subscriber to your channel :) left you a like also 👍
Ali, I can relate so much with what you might have been through with those habits. I have been going through with them too. All the binge eating and eating like there is no tomorrow. I tried salt with water but i stopped.....it somehow it made me gain some weight or weight lost stopped on day 8 or day 9 of my water fast. So i will only do electrolytes, Water with Lemon and Black coffee with no sugar /no cream.
11:30 there is almost no such thing as too much salt its been proven scientifically turns out they've "doctors and the gov" have been spreading misinformation about salt for years (also red meat and fatty meats are proven to be extremely healthy for you and has almost no consequences) humans have been eating ridiculous amounts of salt for thousands of years because we used salt to preserve our meats back then the average meat consumer ( i could be wrong) would eat around a salt shaker or two worth of salt everyday.... if you eat too much salt you just pee it out lol the average person can eat about a salt shakers worth or two everyday for a long period of time before you would notice any adverse affect's and a lot of people dont know is that salt/ electrolytes help maintain the shape of all the cells in your body such as your red blood cells and if you're chronically deficient in salt it will destabilize and implode like a submarine which increases your bodies' rate of aging of upwards to 50 PERCENT it also keeps you hydrated because your body needs salt in order for your body to maintain the water you consumed and not pee it out
(thats why you can't drink sea water because the water goes to a different parts of your body such as your cells/ blood cells and dehydrates the rest of your body, only if you drink to much, if you were actually salt deficient and needed a glass or two you could probably drink it im not to sure tho im not a scientist tho lol so who knows)
and if your chronically low in salt you ll have to piss like every 30 min i forgot the reason but this happened to me before i noticed how deficient i was and discovered all eh benefits salt has, i would have to piss like 8 to 10 times every night lol and i thought it was excess sugar but it wasnt, 1 blood test and a table spoon of salt later i stopped peeing immediately. also if your pee is crystal clear like water it means you're over hydrated and you are peeing out all of your electrolytes you don't want it dark like apple juice but it should have a tinge of yellow also your body needs it for energy- if you feel weak all of a sudden during an exercise or if you're sweating a lot/ drinking to much purified water and your pee is super clear, you should take a table spoons worth of salt and put it in a bottle of water you ll feel like a million bucks and you ll feel the brain fog go away as well because a lack of electrolytes can decrease brain function and create brain fog. ( btw purified water is Absolutely horrible for your health long term) also if a pregnant mother or a small child is deficient in salt it could reduce the Childs overall iq dramatically and is permanent by the time they are serval years old because salt/ electrolytes are vital for healthy brain function its also recommend to eat a table spoons worth of salt in the morning with a cup of water ( preferably warm water bc cold shrinks the shrink the veins and stuff around the stomach reducing its rate of absorption of nutrients)
to help, keep yourself hydrated throughout the day and energized and if your super active you can have up to 2 or 3 spoons worth a day these are just a few a could think of off the top of my head and there are dozens of more benefits i haven't mentioned But don't take my word for it i could have been wrong ab something something minor but i would highly recommend looking into the benefits of salt on your own and the benefits of red and fatty meats because it could drastically change your life and if your water fasting YOU HAVE TO EAT SALT or you ll feel like sh and immensely weak af i used to before i started to drink salt with my water now whenever i do my water fast i sip a bottle of water with salt in it throughout the day to keep my energy levels up and i feel very minimal weakness through out my fasts
@@OTEKA1 that's because you were dehydrated and your body needed it lmao that's water weight lol salt is electrolytes, salts chemical comp is 60 percent chloride and 40 percent sodium sodium is a type of electrolyte you can't pay to much attention to the scale because 1 bottle of water is one pound and you can take a sh and piss and lose well over 10 pounds lol so you have to give yourself 5 to 10 ponds of lee way on the scale before you count it
Awesome, I wish you all the best! And hope you had a great Eid. On the first 30 days fast it was strictly water only and I battled when I got hungry. I am also on my 2nd day of my water fast right now but I've added a twist to this 1... I'm only drinking the "Diet Cranberry Sparkling Drink" by Ocean Spray and it works a charm, I drink it 2/3 times. I'm also eating Pomegranete seeds when I feel really down so if you're struggling with it, I definitely recommend this route. Either way, I think you will smash it. All the best.
Joining you guys today for 28 days! Can’t do water alone cos too hard for me, so I’m doing liquids 😅 😂 My plan: -Water with electrolytes -Iced coffee w/ tablespoon cream no sugar or 1 teaspoon stevia -Bone broth -Sparkling plain water -Sparkling flavoured water e.g. watermelon, lemon, blackberry, lime, orange, raspberry (all no sugar) -Herbal tea -Iced tea -Iced chocolate (Cocoa powder w/1 tsp stevia or xylitol and 1 tablespoon cream or milk Yes, we got this!
On day 22 of 30 day fast though been static weight wise for the last three days but I’m only 5ft 2 and on 119 lb want to get to a good 112 so hears hoping 🤞starts moving again soon then I’m going to stay under my maintenance calories maybe do a few fast days a week to maintain (and back to gym as I don’t have the energy while doing this )
Im doing a 30 day fast and i'm currently 245-250 pounds. I'll try to update. School is starting in September Day 1: it wasn't that hard to avoid eating today. I keep hearing the 2nd and 3rd day are the hardest which I'm scared of 😞 I'm definitely getting hungry now but it's manageable. I don't know if it's because I haven't eaten in 15 hours but I'm really tired and drowsy. Update a month later: I gave up which I REGRET 🤦♀️ I could've lost so much weight if I stuck through with it. Anyway, I'm going to be trying again today (Aug11). I have almost 3 weeks to do this !! Day 1: I didn't binge today thankfully. I'm surprised I managed to resist eating my mom's cooking since it's the main thing that causes me to break my fast. I slept during the day so maybe that's why it was easier. Feeling hungry makes me feel good 4 some reason
Interesting video because you talk about the fact ghat we regain weight after waterfasting because many people say it is not true. It is important because peiple are discouraged to fadt again and like you said we must be prepared
@aliwebonline Come on bro. You had to take some sort of salt or electrolytes! I did a 7 day water fast and walked a lot also. I had to take salt bcuz I felt my body shutting down. Even my sweat had a less salty taste. You're body flushes out electrolytes on pure water alone, now add exercise, even if it's just walking for 30 days...
Well done, don't give up but have you been walking at all? This has happened to me but you.need to stay strong and it'll take a few more days to see the results again

Does it really works i mean like it works i know it but i am talking about people claims they lose 1kg every day which is 7700 calorie and body burns 1300 to 2000 calories a day without eating anything.
Great job man. I am currently on my 5th day of water fasting. Yesterday was the worst and today is still bad but tolerable. I am taking my electrolytes but i feel so tired and having muscle aches. Is this normal? I really wanna push to 30 days but i dont want to have health problems(30 years old male)
@@ugurozdemir3421 muscle aches are a sign of low magnesium. Try pink salt in your water, or a finger dab of table salt then wash it down woth water for quick fix. Some people opt for magnesium and potassium supplements in lieu of pink salt if they haven't prepped their body before their fast with minerals. Hope this helps

I just start water fast, and today is my first day. Do you concern any doctor or medical checkup while fasting? I have a normal body without any disease. Do i continue it or i have to get my self a checkup?
@@alphas7278 doctors will advise against it and won’t help with much. I took every step to get help from them and they didn’t want to help. I lasted 11 days because I was working full time and overwhelmed. Make sure you’re getting lots of electrolytes and end the fact if you are ever feeling unwell. Good luck!
Did you have to work out to loose those 28kg in 30 days? Because even for a 30 day water fast, 28kg weight loss is a lot. Even if you count 3kg of water loss
Exactly...it should be= days of water fasting divided by 2 e.g. 30 days÷2= 15kg weight loss and it works for me. I don't get it how peoole can loose more amount of kg than that😮
I am a binge eater (slightly overweight) how do I prepare myself mentally not to jump back into the old habits after my fast is over? I have a passion for food/eating/cooking and I don’t know what is gonna be the substitution for it.
Discipline. Take pictures of yourself before the fast. Replace passion for eating with passion for preparing food for others and watching them enjoying your creations. Keep a diary and fall in love with reading or walking in nature instead. Bingeing shortens your life. Extend it and love yourself

Well done keep it up the longest I’ve done this for was 15 days back in 2018 and it’s right you do feel a lot better and it’s true the hardest part is the mental game when you can feel your will power decreasing and all you want to do is eat comes to a point you even start dreaming of eating food 😂😂😂 in the end tho it’s all worth it providing you don’t have any medical problems that would prevent you from doing this
It’s also true you can put it all back on and more ! This is only because after fasting you tent to want to eat a lot so to prevent the weight gain again it’s self control and exercise basically can’t go back to your old eating habits

Ali, I can relate so much with what you might have been through with those habits. I have been going through with them too. All the binge eating and eating like there is no tomorrow. Even i did water fast in 2020 but gained even more. I have decided that I will change. And your video will motivate me to do so.

Very Inspiring job man. I've started my 30 day fast too, but struggling on day 3. I'm experiencing the heartburns too and extreme food cravings. One thing i wanna ask, did you add any salts or supplemetns to your fasting regime?

Never do a 30 days fast without practicing 3 days, 7 days, 14 days and 21 days before.
I tried salt with water but i stopped.....it somehow it made me gain some weight or weight lost stopped on day 8 or day 9 of my water fast. So i will only do electrolytes, Water with Lemon and Black coffee with no sugar /no cream.
11:30 there is almost no such thing as too much salt its been proven scientifically
turns out they've "doctors and the gov" have been spreading misinformation about salt for years (also red meat and fatty meats are proven to be extremely healthy for you and has almost no consequences)
humans have been eating ridiculous amounts of salt for thousands of years because we used salt to preserve our meats back then the average meat consumer ( i could be wrong) would eat around a salt shaker or two worth of salt everyday.... if you eat too much salt you just pee it out lol
the average person can eat about a salt shakers worth or two everyday for a long period of time before you would notice any adverse affect's
and a lot of people dont know is that salt/ electrolytes help maintain the shape of all the cells in your body such as your red blood cells and if you're chronically deficient in salt it will destabilize
and implode like a submarine which increases your bodies' rate of aging of upwards to 50 PERCENT
it also keeps you hydrated because your body needs salt in order for your body to maintain the water you consumed and not pee it out
(thats why you can't drink sea water because the water goes to a different parts of your body such as your cells/ blood cells and dehydrates the rest of your body, only if you drink to much, if you were actually salt deficient and needed a glass or two you could probably drink it im not to sure tho im not a scientist tho lol so who knows)
and if your chronically low in salt you ll have to piss like every 30 min i forgot the reason but this happened to me before i noticed how deficient i was and discovered all eh benefits salt has, i would have to piss like 8 to 10 times every night lol and i thought it was excess sugar but it wasnt, 1 blood test and a table spoon of salt later i stopped peeing immediately.
also if your pee is crystal clear like water it means you're over hydrated and you are peeing out all of your electrolytes you don't want it dark like apple juice but it should have a tinge of yellow
also your body needs it for energy- if you feel weak all of a sudden during an exercise or if you're sweating a lot/ drinking to much purified water
and your pee is super clear, you should take a table spoons worth of salt and put it in a bottle of water you ll feel like a million bucks and you ll feel the brain fog go away as well because a lack of electrolytes can decrease brain function and create brain fog.
( btw purified water is Absolutely horrible for your health long term)
also if a pregnant mother or a small child is deficient in salt it could reduce the Childs overall iq dramatically and is permanent by the time they are serval years old
because salt/ electrolytes are vital for healthy brain function
its also recommend to eat a table spoons worth of salt in the morning with a cup of water
( preferably warm water bc cold shrinks the shrink the veins and stuff around the stomach reducing its rate of absorption of nutrients)
to help, keep yourself hydrated throughout the day and energized and if your super active you can have up to 2 or 3 spoons worth a day
these are just a few a could think of off the top of my head and there are dozens of more benefits i haven't mentioned
But don't take my word for it i could have been wrong ab something something minor but i would highly recommend looking into the benefits of salt on your own and the benefits of red and fatty meats
because it could drastically change your life
and if your water fasting YOU HAVE TO EAT SALT or you ll feel like sh and immensely weak af i used to before i started to drink salt with my water now whenever i do my water fast i sip a bottle of water with salt in it throughout the day to keep my energy levels up and i feel very minimal weakness through out my fasts
@@OTEKA1 that's because you were dehydrated and your body needed it lmao that's water weight lol salt is electrolytes, salts chemical comp is 60 percent chloride and 40 percent sodium sodium is a type of electrolyte
you can't pay to much attention to the scale because 1 bottle of water is one pound and you can take a sh and piss and lose well over 10 pounds lol
so you have to give yourself 5 to 10 ponds of lee way on the scale before you count it

Awesome, I wish you all the best! And hope you had a great Eid. On the first 30 days fast it was strictly water only and I battled when I got hungry. I am also on my 2nd day of my water fast right now but I've added a twist to this 1... I'm only drinking the "Diet Cranberry Sparkling Drink" by Ocean Spray and it works a charm, I drink it 2/3 times. I'm also eating Pomegranete seeds when I feel really down so if you're struggling with it, I definitely recommend this route. Either way, I think you will smash it. All the best.

-Iced coffee w/ tablespoon cream
no sugar or 1 teaspoon stevia
-Bone broth

-Sparkling flavoured water e.g. watermelon, lemon, blackberry, lime, orange, raspberry (all no sugar)
-Herbal tea
-Iced tea
-Iced chocolate (Cocoa powder w/1 tsp stevia or xylitol and 1 tablespoon cream or milk

Did you take multivitamins and electrolytes every day? I did not feel any of these bad effects during my 2-week water fast.
On day 22 of 30 day fast though been static weight wise for the last three days but I’m only 5ft 2 and on 119 lb want to get to a good 112 so hears hoping 🤞starts moving again soon then I’m going to stay under my maintenance calories maybe do a few fast days a week to maintain (and back to gym as I don’t have the energy while doing this )

Im doing a 30 day fast and i'm currently 245-250 pounds. I'll try to update. School is starting in September
Day 1: it wasn't that hard to avoid eating today. I keep hearing the 2nd and 3rd day are the hardest which I'm scared of 😞 I'm definitely getting hungry now but it's manageable. I don't know if it's because I haven't eaten in 15 hours but I'm really tired and drowsy.
Update a month later: I gave up which I REGRET 🤦♀️ I could've lost so much weight if I stuck through with it. Anyway, I'm going to be trying again today (Aug11). I have almost 3 weeks to do this !!
Day 1: I didn't binge today thankfully. I'm surprised I managed to resist eating my mom's cooking since it's the main thing that causes me to break my fast. I slept during the day so maybe that's why it was easier. Feeling hungry makes me feel good 4 some reason

@aliwebonline Come on bro. You had to take some sort of salt or electrolytes! I did a 7 day water fast and walked a lot also. I had to take salt bcuz I felt my body shutting down. Even my sweat had a less salty taste. You're body flushes out electrolytes on pure water alone, now add exercise, even if it's just walking for 30 days...

Does it really works i mean like it works i know it but i am talking about people claims they lose 1kg every day which is 7700 calorie and body burns 1300 to 2000 calories a day without eating anything.

It is normal yes. By day 7 you will feel amazing. Energized and euphoric! Keep us updated! Im on day 1 but i have fasted before.

@@ugurozdemir3421 muscle aches are a sign of low magnesium. Try pink salt in your water, or a finger dab of table salt then wash it down woth water for quick fix. Some people opt for magnesium and potassium supplements in lieu of pink salt if they haven't prepped their body before their fast with minerals. Hope this helps

Can I use fisherman's friends or is this somehow stimulating insulin production or working against the biochemical processes in my body that we aim for by water fasting? I just start water fast, and today is my first day. Do you concern any doctor or medical checkup while fasting? I have a normal body without any disease. Do i continue it or i have to get my self a checkup?
@@alphas7278 doctors will advise against it and won’t help with much. I took every step to get help from them and they didn’t want to help. I lasted 11 days because I was working full time and overwhelmed. Make sure you’re getting lots of electrolytes and end the fact if you are ever feeling unwell. Good luck!

I have a passion for food/eating/cooking and I don’t know what is gonna be the substitution for it.
Discipline. Take pictures of yourself before the fast. Replace passion for eating with passion for preparing food for others and watching them enjoying your creations. Keep a diary and fall in love with reading or walking in nature instead. Bingeing shortens your life. Extend it and love yourself
