Had to leave ANOTHER comment! You've UNLOCKED the missing treasure in Komplete Kontrol for me. I NEVER would've found that All Banks view without this video - and JUST THIS MORNING I was trying to figure out how to use the expansion loops in Logic but I was trying to drag them into a sampler rather than just onto the track. You the man! Thx again!
Hahaha, thanks for the extra comment! Komplete Kontrol is the gift that keeps on giving, and it's totally free. Glad I can share these simple but important tips with you!
Nice overview and tricks Onesto 🤩But could you show us how to get that panel view in Komplete Kontrol 3.0.2? And I am not able to drag one-shots to my sampler like you 😕
Yesss, this deal is pretty deep, and Native Instruments released a ton of expansions this past year. These Expansions definitely are user friendly in other DAWs. Thanks for watching!
This is an amazing video as I’ve been wishing I could get at more than just the one hits in battery with all my other native instruments. Still contemplating a machine.
Great tips in the video. Especially the last one. Unpopular Opinion: NI has been focusing too much on mainstream genres for these. Back in the day, NI was the forerunner for experimental music. Bring it back. You have ENOUGH R&B & hip hop packs, ENOUGH pop packs...(Granted, these packs have beautiful sounds, and are extremely well curated). But if you're the future of sound, let's focus on what's not popular right now for a few months. The techno & experimental focused packs are few & far between. Reaktor used to be the flagship... Anyway, there aren't enough packs where you play like 50-100 sounds where you're like "Whoa wth was that? That was so WEIRD".
I can appreciate your comment. I agree. Though I love and pay attention to NI I'm too often left with the same sentiments as you. I'm older and would love to see NI venture in to something other than heavy beat-based genres. Hey NI, can you not venture a bit away from that and give us "folksier" musicians something we could use? It's hard for me to wrap my. head around spending this kind of money on all these different sounds that could probably be expressed on 2 or 3 different software synths/instruments. A few tweaks in these in one's DAW of choice and it seems anyone could arrive at any one of the sounds included in these Extension Packs. Try something a bit different and dazzle those of us off the "BEATen" path. Thank you!
7:26 I used Komplete Kontrol for so long without knowming I could extend Massive... I used to search manually Massive preset after finding one with Komplete Kontrol, I feel so dumb
My komplete control doesnt look like this its more compact and i want to drag loops into my daw (pro tools) but it wont let me. Is there something im missing? Also where u have those buttons for library/loop/oneshot. Mine just says those words i dont see those symbols.
im having similar problem, it just dont let me drag and drop the loops and one shots into my daw, tried on studio one and reaper and had this issue in both
I've recently dragged and dropped samples from battery and in to bitwig. Ever since, I've now noticed that bitwig takes longer to load at it's always scanning and indexing battery samples. Does anyone know why this is happening?
I only have the intro version of ableton - can I use these expansion packs or is the most of the content unusable by me and would constitute poor value for money?
How do I use a single sound? I see all These clap sounds but only see them when I’m using maschine. Can I pull them into my daw or Kontakt to use them a different way so I don’t have to use machine
The expansions should be installed to your shared documents folder, add that to your daws browser or browse your hard drive and navigate to the shared documents folder in kontakt on windows it’s user - (nameofyouruser) - shared documents Pretty similar file structure on Mac too, you’ll work it out :)
I bought maschine, battery and a bunch of expansions last year and never use them. It was too steep of a learning curve and I find the software interfaces to be terrible making what should be simple tasks complicated. But the worst part for me is the fact that none of these expansions are key labeled or key labeled properly so it's up to me to try to figure out - usually by converting to wav files to midi and analyzing in my own crude way. If I'm working in a song in E minor and I want to add something from an expansion it's hopeless. Any suggestions? I'm obviously a novice, but why does NI have to make it so difficult? What makes matters worse is that I use reaper which makes using komplete Kontrol almost impossible.
it feels like misleading advertising to promote this two-year old video on their latest sales campaign since with the latest version of komplete kontrol (3.+) they removed the ability to drag-and-drop samples into your DAW. NI please fix this, otherwise don't give false impression about your software's current capabilities
Thanks for letting me be a part of this sale, it's a ridiculously good one! If anyone has any questions about Expansions, just comment below!
Loco, tal vez sabes que expansiones no van a estar incluidas en komplete 14 para no tenerlas dos veces si las compro ahora?
Great video thanks. I wish drag and drop was a thing still. 😢
The "all banks" view was a killer tip for me. Also never dragged the loops right into my DAW. Those two will up my workflow productivity A LOT. Thx!
Isn't it crazy how the simplest tricks can be the best ones? Thanks for watching and I hope you have tons of fun the next time you're playing!
So great seeing some Bitwig love!! Such a great DAW!
Mate I’ve been using Komolete Kontrol since its start and it never occurred to me to use it like that. Thank you very much for the vid.
Glad we could bring some light in here!
Niiiiicee!! So happy to share these tips, even happier that they could help you!
Same here, I had no idea Komplete kontrol could be used the way you demonstrated. THANK YOU!!!!!

Cant beat this deal. I love how the expansions are so user friendly in other Daws

Nice overview of Expansions and how to get the best from them. Many thanks😎

Thank you for showing us this and making it sound easy
Onestooo!!!
Heyyyyy! Thanks for watching and continued support!
Great little tutorial. I have a lot of XPs and learned a few tricks, thanks 👍🏻
Amazing work thank for sharing
I wish "Bitwig💪Studio" was more ubiquitous.
Such an underrated DAW with amazing features, though not as prevalent as Ableton Live👍
Onesto get an oneisto life before it's too late!
Una maravilla de sonidos, en lo personal, adoro todos los instrumentos y tengo mucha admiración por la creación de cada uno de los sonidos. 💙🎧🎼🕺💃😊😃😎💯👑

Great intro thanks ~ And how to implement at replica effect at 06:20 ?
That was super helpful! Great information! 🤠
That's so good to hear! These kinds of videos are all about helping the community, thanks for watching!
What is the DAW sampler you use?
This would all work so much better if you were able to resize komplete kontrol. It's the most frustrating thing in the world.
Yes to this! Its a big reason I dont use it
Niceeee 🔥
I've recently dragged and dropped samples from battery and in to bitwig. Ever since, I've now noticed that bitwig takes longer to load at it's always scanning and indexing battery samples.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Oh, I thought 99 expansions for $9...
I only have the intro version of ableton - can I use these expansion packs or is the most of the content unusable by me and would constitute poor value for money?
So Komplete Kontrol is a program that is open outside of your DAW? Or is it a plugin on another track?
It's a plugin to streamline using or finding anything in your komplete library
Wait didn't you say in your past video that you don't Komplete Kontrol if you don't have a Komplete Kontrol keyboard? has that changed?
Hi how can u use Native Instruments expansions with other applications eg with mpc software?
You will be able to use the samples and loops of the expansion, but the Maschine and Battery kits can only be used within the respective plugins.
@@NativeInstruments thanks for the info!!!
How do I use a single sound? I see all

Damn...I missed this deal...but I got kontakt 6 for 50%.... just need a discount on reaktor 6.....
.....yes komplete Kontrol is sick.
So that's how you use them - doh!
Which expansions will not be included in komplete 14?
They will all be included in the Collector's edition, as usual.
As for the rest, we don't know yet!

Want to sell them? Which expansions?
