Michael Guglielmucci was the Bass Player of Planetshakers that time. He was then replaced by Mark Peric and Mark was replaced by Josh Ham.
Michael Guglielmucci does have amazing bass licks on that song. Before we say negative comments about Michael Guglielmucci involved in a Scandal, remember let us not judge others because he is just human and we all make mistakes too, remember we are all sinners. Before I once had an addiction too watching inappropriate videos. I had to repent because of my struggle.

Are you using effects to make the bass sound deeper?

What you can do on a four you can do on a five sir, even better

If you're having problems with the 5th, you can play it on the higher octave. But don't worry, I'll make sure to still cover songs that specifically uses 4 string bass :)

I think the bass lick in 3:27 is not 100 percent accurate, I tried to master this song way back. Also, some of the fret position of the bassist is different because I tried to match it with the video. But I was drawn to this channel because of the slap part of turn it up.

Sorry to say this brother, but this time you just deformed the melody of the song which is the very beautiful part of this song just to show off your skills, I mean it's just this time brother, I'm still your fan though, ✌️

Hello. Thank you for your comment. But I didn't improvise a riff for this song in this video, not even once. If you listen closely to the bass player (Mark Peric) on their recording of this version, I tried my best to copy the lines/riffs he made, even the small fillers he does during the sustained A chord on the reprise part.

@@jikyonly now it makes sense brother, I thought it's still the planetshakers version, sorry I didn't watch yet that video you are talking about, respect and love to you bro, stay blessed, and continue to bless others by your content 🙏🙏🙏

Ei thanks bro appreciate it. There are two versions of this song, the one mostly listened to is with the acoustic setup of Planetshakers. Appreciate the feedback brother. God bless you too!
