Quick tip tashed man, it's not super bad if you do end up upgrading the purple drives. You get back about 80% of the resources you pump into them if I remember correctly.

Its the coolest and best balanced gacha-game out there in aspects off grinding diffeculty! NO annoying open-world, a cute cozy city with lots to explore and a lot of cute little stories, supercool satisfying fights, lovely but also crazy characters, all the features and things you can do are so cool. Also all these puzzles in the caves - a wonderfull new and innovative way in the gacha-world! Next to Wuthering Waves its the best and most entertaining ga-ga "for me". And who dont want to own and manage a vhs-rentalstore ;-) Played to level 30 in three days because I couldnt stop. Just bought the battlepass but got already so much luck getting grace, soukaku 4x, soldier 11, lucy 3x, piper 3x, Ellen, etc. - And DUDE...parries are soooo satisfying!

@@FyXeeu Why/how are you spending so long on TV sections? If I had to put a % on it, even in something TV-intense like hollow zero, id say its only 30% or so TV sections. You can blitz through them no problem.

Personally im not in a rush, Ive just been chilling for the last week or so I log in use stamina and log off lol so by the time I actually play I will probally have enough for 2 full teams but im also like that on WuWa I just get on long enough to do my dailys and waveplates and then I either go exploring or log off I guess im pretty casual and just dont care when there isnt more story to do yet.
I didnt realize Anton was good I got him like C4 right now all ive been pulling is Nicole and Anton everyday

Ye. I feel like running out of resources is just from rushing tf out of the game. I only play when I really have free time, inter knot 32, and I’m enjoying it and not feeling like I’m running out of anything etc.
@@HazardTone I don't think that's a bug, they just use the mechanics of the game to their advantage.

THE DENNIES SHORTAGE IS REAL!
You can get denies fast by doing hollow zero though, just a lot of grinding.
Also, if you want to min max, don't invest in too many talents, skills and agents at the same time. Focus on 2 dps, 2 supports, and 2 bangboos and their best skill first (I use soldier 11 so I only raise her auto and burst, but even just auto is fine).

@@FyXeeu Nope. I dislike the TV gameplay. It’s a huge downside of the game. But guess what? I actually find other aspects to be enjoyable, and that’s okay.
Prime analogy would be… I don’t really like tomatoes but I still eat salsa, if that makes sense.
my frustation though that for people like me that got soldier 11 and decided not pulling for ellen and mains soldier 11 instead, its taking a toll on me because early on, the enemies and a lot of the stages are tailored specifically for ellen joe, or specifically for ice and electric meta. its like starting pokemon ruby/saphire with torchic. i sure do hope towards the future the meta is shifting. but for the most part, the struggle is real.
I’m in the same boat rn so I’m also building up a Grace/Piper team, and it’s OK so far but not as good as the S11 team

Really enjoying this. As an HSR player and Genshin player, I always have a hard time figuring out how to spend right away. I spent premium currency when starting HSR for more energy week 1. Glad you’re giving us this content!

Because he has insane luck in every fucking game.
he got early ellen so it was easy for him to pull her w engine. and other 2s ranks you can get in 1 week from standard f2p pulls.
Because getting lucky = spending money lmao, I got Ellen at 19 pulls and her weapon at 25 lol

personally i think piper and lucy is crack for an A star char like insanly valuable for disorder team cause lucy dmg buff apply to everyone and any dmg type (unlike soukaku which rely on ice dmg unit) , and piper or lucy alone is already crack on their own , piper anomaly buildup is higher than grace to the point where if i use grace + piper +(random unit, i use anby) i can chain disorder right after the other without reaplying both element again due to how fast piper and grace can build anomaly , ,just straight from shock + assault/disorder > shock again proc disorder> proc assault disorder again > repeat
i am f2p and IK 39, but i dont have any problem with raising 6 character to max potential for now (lvl 40) but for lvl 50 i would just level up my main dps. and in IK 35 it actually pretty efficient to farm disk with the right main stat (it good if it's gold but purple already a big boost to damage) if you already build your 6 character level, trace and skills. better than prefarm or farm denny and exp

I'm a noob and just got to interknot 40 without issue and without spending a cent on the game. This includes pulling 3 S tier characters from earnt credits. Really enjoying this game.
Can we do shiyu defense blindfolded?
You can when you are at least the same level as the enemy and have good disc.
A tip in regards to Hollow Zero "Blessings":
There are some that can only be obtained by having a member on the team of a certain Combat Style (Stun, Attack, etc) or Element (Physical, Fire, Ice), so try to use other characters and not just one team when doing Hollow Zero in order to gain more of the "Blessings" to get more Polychrome rewards
I’ve been playing casually. This actually pushed me back towards WW and I’m realizing the content added in the newest patch is easily the best content in the game. I just can’t stand the TV sections in this game, I’m one of those guys
Only reason I'm at 27 playing really casually and sometimes not even logging in is the TV's, or else I'd probably be close to 40
If only this game was semi open world like HSR with a lot of cutscenes instead of having almost no voice overs during story and having 70% of my in game hours in this TV crap

Mtashed really hasn't been doing the sidequests. I'm at lvl 39 F2P w/ all side quests finished. Jealous that he got a Rina on his pulls though. My account looks exactly like his except no Lucy or Rina. I got 2 S Star attack W-Engines and no Soldier 11. Luckily, both my Anton and Soukaku are M6. Definitely going for Rina over Lycaon if I get to 300.
Yh I've just been taking my time with this game. Ngl, I literally take my time to think about who and what I want to build. DPS units should really take priority and also have patience. Mtashed advice is really giving us good advice
Very big walls above lvl 30. I'm at 39 now and the only way to proceed is wait or spend batteries when you have nothing to do. No other quest available so you will be crawling that wall with patience (dailies, relationships, battery replenish overtime+coffee). That's going to test your patience if you dont want to spend those precious batteries for the future.🤣
Those Tuning Calibrator are definitely clutch, the 5th and 6th disk spot are the best ones to use them on imo. I'm currently IK 41 and my first team is already completed/cracked because of it and getting a bit lucky while farming.
We get 3 in total for now from what I've seen. One from reaching IK 40, that shop and Lv 45 free battle pass reward.
Some of the ZZZ units do get a lot better with dupes. I just went from C0 to C5 Anton last night and I noticed a big difference immediately
Unfortunately I lost my 50/50 for Ellen’s weapon to Lycoan’s weapon. I’ll get him eventually so it’ll be cool but I still want Ellen’s wengine

Pulling for Ellen, I lost the 50/50 to Lycaon. One of the only time I wasn't mad losing the 50/50 lol. I ended up still getting Ellen a bunch of multi later, and got her weapon. Also got Soukaku to max cinema. Ice team going crazy now, feel so good!
The rap w-engine with Billy for some nutty ults can get one quite far if your roster is lacking in damage.
I think there's a lot of side quest that you haven't done yet. I have been playing since launch completely f2p, with no recharge using polychrome, still have 8 batteries, and I am already lv38 and a half. Though my account is nowhere as lucky as yours. Now I have basically cleared all possible contents except for story quest for Koleda, Rina and Lycaon as well as Shiyu Defense 9 and above. Managed to get S rank on Shiyu 8 but decided to reach lv40 first before attempting Shiyu 9.
I've done absolutely everything outside of Shiyu and Zero Zone, while using almost all batteries and I think I did 1 polychrome refresh and I'm also half-way through level 38 - so yeah, works out.

I’ll add that Ben is pretty good if you are using Belabog or Fire characters. He becomes a mix of stun and damage if you counter.

The repetitiveness perhaps and the combat where you're not in control. That's the problem for me
ZZZ is a great game if you treat it like a visual novel. You really have to be into slice-of-life and/or the urban punk aesthetic to truly appreciate it.
I'm personally not a big fan of the gameplay and much prefer a fantasy/sci-fi setting so it's not for me.
@@SwingingOrangutan the problem with hoyoverse is that they try to give you an history, but people are players not trying to see a manga or a comic, its the main reasons, while honkai star rail has that it at least try to do faster , that is why i end up eating that but zzz on the contrary its hard to swallow and that is very bad i guess, still i am giving it a try though i dont like that much
I think it is okay not liking a popular game. ZZZ marketing is really good, but I think the game is not for everyone. For me, I like the design & animation, but everytime I enter TV mode I just let out a big sigh. I'll continue playing for now since I just got Lycaon, but not sure for how long I can keep up.

How to use Anton? I keep run out of energy using him. Also I don't understand his C1 passive. drill attack, which drill attack?
Just a rant but I am honestly so mad at this game's banner pulls. I didn't see that even though the banner character was the only S one presented (the shark maid), all the others were still on the ticket. And so when I put in a bit of money to push for the pity S rank and got somebody completely different, I was completely livid. Maybe I'm an innocent baby but all the others gacha on mobile I played gave you the banner character at least as the pity pull, and most often than not the banner character was the only max rarity you could get. So I really wanted the Shark maid and now with all of these pull wasted I landed 2 completely different S characters while only pulling on her banner. I still like the combat, the charcacters and the world very much but I don't think I'm gonna bother ever again to try and get a banner character outside of the few freely given encrypted tapes
So far I have pulled double Rina and her W-engine but have no teams to use her on 😅

Watching Mtashed feels like watching Nikocado Avocado but for gacha game. Constantly playing these gacha games and ending up in misery and self-destruction just for more views. I wish the best for him.

On a pure f2p account, you can hit at minimum of 39 (Im level 40 in 2 hours from now) without spending polychromes for batteries.
You probably have some quests untouched yet.

i reached lvl 30 in 9 hours playing this and its not straight playing i do sumthing else i think its pretty easy to level up here if u do everything ( Why did i do that? bcoz i reroll and got zhu yuan on interknot lv 4 and the arcade event is ending in 2 hours i managed to to do it get all rewards since the requirements is just lv 15 unlock soldier 11 quest )

A Gacha that need a horizontal investment ? Easy at early/mid game but hard at end game ? Crazy ! Its not like it was that for all gacha, even more on hoyo games ...
Shiyu 10 was pretty easy with mid tier discs, 4* engines at 40 with anton and ellen. Sooo this one with you not being able to beat it, is probably on you.
Anton/anby/ben + ellen/koleda(or any stunner)/sousaku. (By no means is this an S clear, but it had a min or so left)
The problem is that the Any Stunner right now is only Lycaon and Koleda, both 5* standard characters mtashed doesn't have. Anby is the only 4* stun unit available at launch

Anything other than an S clear is worthless anyway so what’s it matter

When do you get access to “The Hunt?”
After completing Chapter 2: A call from the Hollow's Heart, reaching at least an Inter-Knot Level of 26 and upgrading at least one Agent to Level 30
Most ZZZ guide advice is common sense,but here's three things ZZZ doesn't tell you:
-Nicole's skill has a longer alternate by making a circle with your mouse or thumbstick
-Lucy's basic attack with have two hits of pyro after her first full combo string
-there's an exploit with Anton's C1 where if you miss his first two attacks,he keeps infinite energy

While i could C rank Shiyu 9 with enough effort,my DPS is too low so i'm waiting for Zhu Yuan to progress.
I manage to get all of the fire units, i think the game is telling me something.

What I really hate on this game is the HP pool of enemies are just getting higher as difficuly level rises. Not very original from Hoyo forcing you to spend if you're not really patient.

I tried pulling on Ellen's banner, went to 90 pity lost 50/50, now I'm a guaranteed and she 40 pulls alway.

Brothers and Sisters. Pulling for 5* weapons is never an option if you are F2P. If you do this, in the future there will be a 5* character you desperately will want and you will not have enough to pull for them. Do not make this mistake.
Sadly the weapons make the characters even better. Especially in this game where the lower grade ones aren’t really that great. Are they necessary? I’d argue debatable in this game as the stats and abilities granted by them benefit their characters even more. Yet they’re not required for anything that isn’t the Hollows. If you never plan on doing that, the go ahead and pass on it. Also, unlike Genshin, every character has their own W-Engine which massively boosts what they excel in.
You can make that argument for Genshin. In ZZZ, not so much. Hollow stuff might be more challenging without them.
@@sjue316 I almost made it to the end of hollows yesterday with zero 5* Wdrives. I'm certain when I'm able to fully max out my characters I'll probably be able to clear it if I'm already to get that far at lvl 40. and all disc drives were at lvl 0 except for a few good rolled ones at lvl 12.

"There will be another x element x role in the future"... This is kinda bad advice imo. You'll be waiting a literal eternity, just pull Ellen. If not, be prepared to wait 12-18 months because even in HSR, still no new Ice DPS since Jingliu, still no new wind DPS since Blade, we only JUST NOW got a new Quantum DPS in the form of Jade, before that it was literally Seele, the very 1st banner of the entire game.
