- ■ NEPAL, KATHMANDU: 2020 is visit Nepal year and seeing as I've got the budget food and hotel covered in the videos I've made up until now, I decided to investigate what the hotel options for those who truly do not care what they pay for accommodation are.
My choice of resort thus fell on Dwarika's Resort Dhulikel, about and hour outside Kathmandu with a great view of the Himalayas. I've stayed briefly in luxury hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and somewhat knew what to expect. But what I wasn't prepared for is how the Nepalese take service in such establishments above and beyond to accommodate their guests and ensure they have a luxurious worry free stay...

Nepal is budget friendly, tourist friendly place....I have been to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dharan, Kakarvita.....despite having their own internal problems Nepal is successful in providing tourism....I just loved Nepal and its people.... Respect from India

I assure most people don't know English. Herald just happened to encounter people who knew little English. Obviously the staffs at the most expensive hotel in the country will definitely know English.

It's insane how impeccable the service is and how beautiful this resort it and only for $600. Here in California US where I live $600 will not get you this kind of service, and with this view, NOT EVEN CLOSE. You have to spend $1000+ just to get this kind of service in a hotel/resort with a view. I would lovve to visit this exact resort, maybe one day.

I always feel sad when I see them like this, they seem to be nervous serving you. I am your subscriber and follow ur every log. I see the Nepalese people from Luxurious hotels to a normal street barbershop, are very humble, kind, and friendly. They welcoming everybody in a very peaceful way. I have also seen ur Indian logs but couldn't find such behaviors like Nepalese. Proud to be Nepalese. And a lot of love for this vlog. Amazingly beautiful resort.

Yes, marijuana and hashish used to be consumed in Nepal since historical times and legal sold in shops till the 70s. Marijuana is so common that it even grows in the streets freely like bushes if you go outside of Kathmandu(urban city)

600 for this is not bad at all. Not entirely out of reach. Few days there is definitely an expirience
Alexisblack Compare to a weekend or week at Disney or a cruise. (I’m not talking about for kids here) Better views. No crowds, no lines, much cleaner surfaces. No frustration or unmet expectations. Go home feeling refreshed and get your moneys worth. Disney treats you like cattle and overcharges everything even water.
To have this place alone as a single or couple would be sublime. That is a honeymoon or landmark anniversary worth saving up for and a little extra sacrifice. Yes not entirely impossible.
Or pour a glass of wine or cup of good tea, pair with a few nuts or good chocolates on your best china, rewatch this episode, relax and dream...

I stayed in Kathmandu in the hotels $150-200. The greetings were in every single one. It was a welcome drink, sometimes a snack and tiny fireworks.People always to your service to help you, to guide you. In the room a full mini bar and 2 bottles of free water. It was a great tea, coffee, electric kettle and ceramic cups. Same in India. That's the wonderful culture.
