I literally was so mesmerized by his bars on Hermit and the Recluse while driving I didn't notice the light went from green to red and accidentally banged into the car in front of me. Everyone fine. But the bars was crazy
I remember listening to Ka at night while working the graveyard shift as a security guard and walking back home play early in the morning. I would always say "to get what we need, we did what we must". That really got me through! Rest in peace and know you changed lives Ka! 🙏🏿🫡🕊️
And the following line is 100x better again because he's showing his hypocrisy but for me at least it also is something he really had to handle without the help of any God (that's how I took it I know he believes in a God but I don't, nothing against Ka obviously). "So I haven't spotted a product I can't scramble"
Trying to find a reason I'm still alive breathing, wanna heal my inner child it's been a while grieving. Those bars are getting tattooed on my body very soon. My favourite ever bar in Hip Hop. Ka is that dude.
Man, I just found out, and I'm so fucking bummed out. My eyes hurt. Thank you for your time and consideration Ka, you have been a great teacher to me. Love you. May you rest in peace
You had it right with the sports reference. “My Boys in the tiers/tears, but they ain’t ball/bawl, they all strike. Meaning the guys around him don’t throw balls, they throw strikes. They’re in the top tier, and they do this even though they shed tears. And the line where he says “moving rocks like easter Sunday” he follows with “trynna get fly, ima slide, peep the runway”. Just saying peep is a reference to the Easter bunny candy and goes with the trynna get fly portion as well. A lot of lines/entendres hinge on previous or future lines and don’t always complete both sides. Most rappers will settle for a simpler sorta half entendre if the line works better. So any easier way to get a line if it’s not clicking is don’t take singular as much, but add it to the previous or next line, or both.
I remember listening to this while I was high as hell for the first time ever. Never listened to a Ka song, but I fucking swear I was in a never ending trance when I listened and watched it. By the end I was at the verge of tears. Shit was magical.
This is 1 of the best Hip Hop tracks to come out in the past decade, such a vivid storyteller, KA literally is Piccaso on the mic!! and this video is absolutely absurd, so deep & raw!
Being blessed in a myriad of ways today, first to rise from my slumber and in the midst of life receiving this brilliant gift of lyricism, mastery of the skillz, a true artistry of the culture. Ka the brother from another Hip-Hop planet !!!. All Respect Due Maximum word em up!!! Peace!!! Salud!!!....
*"Was Gun Crazy, My -180+ Was a Big Flip./ CAGED without HER, SO the WORLD is what My Rib get...""* ....... you know you a KA fan if you appreciate that triple meaning. He really is a great, & has now solidified his spot as my favorite rapper of all time.
As if he couldn't release anything better, this album is damn near perfect, its been on repeat for weeks. His catalog just keeps getting stronger and stronger every release.
yeah I can see that, a lot of MF Grimm's rhymes had to do with hustling, living in an environment with bleak prospects, striving to survive and succeed where many haven't got that opportunity to get beyond where they're living. MF Grimm is a real one, I got nothing but respect for his "The downfall of Ibliys a ghetto Opera", it's insane he put that album out in less than a day, I think it was?
REST IN PEACE TO THE GOAT
Much Respect to one of the best doing it.
Same can be said about MMG!!!
could you guys sign this dude? or at least distribute his music? I think he needs more exposure, people need to know how dope his stuff is.

I literally was so mesmerized by his bars on Hermit and the Recluse while driving I didn't notice the light went from green to red and accidentally banged into the car in front of me. Everyone fine. But the bars was crazy
