Unfortunately it looks like Samsung still hasn't fixed the indoor/lowlight issue with taking photos especially of kids. Still suffering from those blurry images unlike the pixel. Genuinely the only reason I'm still using the pixel over an s ultra phone

The PWM on OLEDs at low brightness is usually bad. My Motorola Razr Ultra 50 has a setting that can minimize the PWM at that setting. I wonder why other manufacturers not use the same technique?
15:01 You've got it mixed with the telephoto cameras resolution on S25 Ultra. They're 10MP 3x and 50MP 5x optical zoom telephoto cameras, not the other way around.
I have used both Pixels and Galaxies. I would suggest if you need better integration with Microsoft Apps, Galaxies are always better than Pixels. Pixels are only for Google purists.

I'm kinda sad that my phone broke just last week and I had to get a new phone. There was a sale on the Pixel 9 Pro for 849€ during black friday and even after christmas. Now it's 1200€ and can't find it cheaper anywhere else. It's like they want me to get another phone. So because of that I ended up just getting the S25 Ultra as it conveniently just launched with the pre-order bonuses and such. I still feel like I prefer the Pixel 9 Pro XL photos you took in this video and I understood the regular Pro model has the exact same camera hardware. However, the S25 Ultra camera system is still impressive and better in some ways, and I hope they can especially get rid of that low light noise with updates.
Think it's important that you should definitely mention that face unlock on both phones rely on just the front camera, they are very unsecure unlike iPhones which are full on 3d secure face id unlock

S25 Ultra still better of the two because of the chipset's reliability vs Pixel's G4. Next year should be different for the Pixel though. I like the Ultra's squarish round corners more than Pixel's very rounded ones.

I've already preordered S25 Ultra and my S23 goes to my son👍 Actually, people also said about S23 that it's nothing new, but it works great and receives all updates and security patches regularly. So, I stay with Samsung.

The only reason I'm still with Samsung is the S Pen, without the bluetooth I'm moving on to OnePlus for my next phone, but my goodness the Pixel photos are amazing. Just wish the video was also up to par with images.
Always wanted to love the Pixel because I Love the cameras BUT it feels unpolished as a phone. Couldn't believe that being Android a Google OS it feels so laggy, specially in the camera app where there's plenty of noise in the viewfinder (even if the picture comes out crisp) and tons of lag/choppiness switching lenses. The shutter speed is so slow, the post processing even slower. The fast charging is not fast at all. Multiple bugs (again, with their OWN software that they make). It's hard to love it. I've really tried. But I'm gonna go back to Samsung for this one. Maybe with the 10 Pro XL (probably not)
You're incorrect on this or just lying: it does charge fast at 30 watts for me on my 9 Pro XL and it's fast wireless charging at 23 Watts on my Pixel Stand Gen 2. 1 hour either way. 5,060 mAh.

Why is no one talking about is the real problem with this phone, That 3D mark stress test showing "lowest score" shows problems with throttling on the 20 times loop that's either caused by the vapor chamber cooling system on the Galaxy not being enough, or that Samsung goes with much more aggressive software limits in order to prevent the chip from overheating. Either way 3d mark is showing horrible "stability". The 3d mark Wild Life Extreme 20 loop test, then show the scores.
It's on purpose to prevent battery getting hot, not even close to overheating though . But you can override that. Install good lock, thermal guardians, and then increase the thermal threshold by few degrees. Problem solved. Now both phone will perform the same under load. At least samsung gives you an option to prevent such overloads which fuck up the battery long term.

Had the S24U & had to let it go because of the camera. Going from a Pixel 8Pro i couldn't handle the downgrade. 😭 - Pixels photos are 👌

Just a note on the face unlock. The Pixel's face unlock can be used for banking whereas the S25 Ultra cannot.

I've got Ultra S24, and don't feel the camera stacks up to Googles still, low light is awful to take a quick snap in the moment. I'll be waiting now and going back to Pixel when the 10 is released.

The only reason I'm still with Samsung is the S Pen, without the bluetooth I'm moving on to OnePlus for my next phone, but my goodness the Pixel photos are amazing. Just wish the video was also up to par with images.

Always wanted to love the Pixel because I Love the cameras BUT it feels unpolished as a phone. Couldn't believe that being Android a Google OS it feels so laggy, specially in the camera app where there's plenty of noise in the viewfinder (even if the picture comes out crisp) and tons of lag/choppiness switching lenses. The shutter speed is so slow, the post processing even slower. The fast charging is not fast at all. Multiple bugs (again, with their OWN software that they make).
It's hard to love it. I've really tried. But I'm gonna go back to Samsung for this one. Maybe with the 10 Pro XL (probably not)
You're incorrect on this or just lying: it does charge fast at 30 watts for me on my 9 Pro XL and it's fast wireless charging at 23 Watts on my Pixel Stand Gen 2. 1 hour either way. 5,060 mAh.

Why is no one talking about is the real problem with this phone, That 3D mark stress test showing "lowest score" shows problems with throttling on the 20 times loop that's either caused by the vapor chamber cooling system on the Galaxy not being enough, or that Samsung goes with much more aggressive software limits in order to prevent the chip from overheating. Either way 3d mark is showing horrible "stability". The 3d mark Wild Life Extreme 20 loop test, then show the scores.
It's on purpose to prevent battery getting hot, not even close to overheating though . But you can override that. Install good lock, thermal guardians, and then increase the thermal threshold by few degrees. Problem solved. Now both phone will perform the same under load. At least samsung gives you an option to prevent such overloads which fuck up the battery long term.
in other words, s25 ultra is the s20 ultra with a better processor, with the exact same issues it had 5 years ago.
