But Here is the thing, once people start coming out of poverty they will start asking for the things that you said are not required. One can argue why does a country with so much Infra issues and people shitting on streets need internet, Mobile etc. 20 years ago, internet was new. People said the same thing. I am from Bangalore, when the Govt wanted to widen the Outer ring round to a 6 lane Road, people protested saying why it is needed or required. China of 1980's was a dump, with people shitting on the streets etc but the Govt invested in electronic manufacturing. Main point is, you will need to invest things for the future too and not just for today. Technology will not wait for anyone, if you don't get in now, you will need to pay for it in the future. Just like Isro. Today we are self reliant for satellite tech and do it at a fraction of the cost. Imagine if we didn't. @@saibharath1236 nah get this, most of india today is using the internet, yt facebook etc, heck they are using UPI to do payments(which is pretty futuristic we just take it for granted). We have autodrivers and momo sellers using UPI to accept and do payments. A very small, unfortunate number of people (atleast other than rural areas) are left behind. So, when the tech arrives, we wouldnt need to educate people how to use it through schools, just like we didn't do it in the case of all the technology we are using as we speak.
All these technologies already exists today Yes these can be more mainstream in 2030... But I doubt about affordability, But decently rich people can definitely afford it
