Bubble,Please oh please buy a wind sock for your microphone, your commentary is inaudible without one. Love following your trip I have Bavaria 31 based on the Costa del Sool in southern Spain.
So sorry about this. I am well aware of the problem which is why I noted it at the start of the video. The problem is that I have nothing more than an iPhone so I don't have a microphone to put a sock over. If there is a solution when using an iPhone, and you know what it is, please tell me! I intended that the chief record of the trip would be my written blogs at www.yachtbubble.com so didn't plan to do a vlog, but I enjoy taking the videos and people seem to enjoy watching them. In retrospect I should have sorted out proper equipment before I set out but it's too late now. Again, my apologies. I will see what I can do but in high winds the wind-noise problem will, I fear, continue to be evident. The same applies to my radio contact with Mike and he often struggles to hear me when I call from the cockpit. All good wishes and many thanks for your feedback.
Hello Ron - I shot some more footage today at Spurn Point where it was windy and I used a sock over the phone's mic. I think it has helped a bit but it isn't perfect. I may not be able to upload the video this evening as there is not much signal here. Best, Jonathan
Sorry about that. I set out on the circumnavigation without ever thinking about making videos so all I had was an iPhone. I've now bought a proper mic with a 'dead cat' to filter out the wind noise, but obviously that won't change by 2022 videos.

Very disappointed I can’t hear you most of the trip you miss out key factors in the video due to the wind
