What's so cool (among many things) is how tight the band is. He just looks over and gives the slightest cue and they follow him flawlessly. Both those guys are fantastic players.
Dude you don’t have to block him, and the print, if you have to block, doesn’t have to be so big! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Fastest gun in Texas! 😎 Oh yeah, Double Trouble is one of the GREATEST BOTTOMS! Listen to that Bass, and Drums!
If Stevie did a cover of someone else’s song it was because he had a connection to it or really liked it . He said he wanted to share the music of the people that influenced him with his fans in hopes they will enjoy it too and maybe listen to the original artist. He gave 10000% when he did a cover because he wanted to show respect to the ones that come before
Almost 34yrs after his passing and still mind blowing to each generation since then. There are so many versions of Voodoo Child from Stevie, all amazing. He stays so true to this song's spirit and feel, but it explodes with Stevie's magical touch. Nice reaction, all the right words. Please watch listen and react to "Little Wing", el Macombo. Another amazing and my favorite composition/song from Jimi Hendrix, the 1st GOAT. RIP, King SRV.;
When a guitarist walks on stage with a guitar that looks likes its been used for target practice and then thrown off a mountain you just know he,s the real deal
SRV didn't just play notes through his guitar, he FELT them ("Roll and I'll just FEEL something"). You can see it in his facial expressions and body language that he's letting his soul and emotions drive his playing. Double Trouble is right there with him too. If you watch his live performances you begin to pick up on the queues he gives to Tommy and Chris for upcoming changes and being seasoned pros they are always able to give Stevie the space he needs to improvise and then click right in place for when not to, according to changes in the song. As far as this particular performance is concerned, he's not just bending strings like he did at the end, he's making love to them. I wouldn't be surprised if his guitar asked for a cigarette after that!
Fun fact the way Wawa peddle Stevie is using once belong to Jimmi Hendrix Stevies brother Jimmy Vaughan got it from Hendrix and knew Stevie was a big fan and he gave it to him
Every time I see a live video of Stevie, I could kick myself for not seeing him perform live when I had many chances to do so. I read that Stevie said he stopped using 13 gauge guitar strings when he stopping doing coke. So sad when he passed; we were the same age. 😪
Stevie once said that it's great being famous and all but after coming home from being on tour I'm still the guy who's wife makes him take out the garbage. or words to that effect.
This was great but not the best example of what Stevie can do with this song. This was a made for tv special so he was very limited to what he could do. you should check out this song from the Live at the El Mocambo or any other song from that show Stevie was taking us to another world during that show he and his guitar's spirits were entering everyone in the building .
No. Not one of the best. THE BEST. As B.B. King said, I play the blues in sentences, Stevie Ray plays them in paragraphs. Stevie Ray was given permission by Jimi’s dad to cover Voodoo Child because even he knew how good Stevie was.
The great Stevie Ray Vaughan....will never be another like him.

Great performance by Stevie Ray Vaughan. ❤ Would love to hear more.
No doubt in my mind he’s the GOAT! He preformed this better than Jimmy!

Now that you have lost your Vaughanginity, Texas Flood live at El Mocambo should be next!
You are not ready!!!
❤SRV❤
You're 'bout to have your hair blown ALL the way back, Babes! 😎
💙💙💙💙💙… Stevie Ray Vaughan brought me here… Lovely reaction!! Subscribed!🔥🔥🔥
He is not up there with the best, he IS the best!
If you do not play guitar ..this makes you want to get one ...
If you play guitar, .. his makes you throw yours away !

"Drinking Game" ! Each time he drops his pick, gets it and continues flawlessly ... TAKE A SHOT !)
He never drops his pick. He's adjusting the tube screamer and other effects on the control board at his feet.
Check out Live Texas Flood at El Macambo and 3rd Stone from the Sun. Mind Blower. Ya'll been Warned. ❤❤

Similar to Jimi's version i personally think its probably a cleaner version note for note
Hey bro check out the videos from the capital theater in Passaic N.J witch I worked as a stagehand
LITTLE WING studio version AWESOME..(headphones only)
Jimi was the best
If you wanna see real SRV...check out Voo Doo Child Nashville in 1987. Your mind WILL be blown!

It's not one of the Greatest he IS THE GREATEST. I should know I'm Stevie Ray's Little Sister. Kiya Lynn Vaughan. ❤❤
Stevie did not have a sister. His only sibling is his brother Jimmie. You need to talk to a therapist.
Dude it ain’t dance music…it’s listen music! They are all dead inside🤨…Holy Moly…😡
