Xiaoli is such a strong character. She knew when to walk away and move on with her life. She found love and happiness and freed herself from unnecessary pain and drama. The ex-husband cared for her but didn’t love her even after everything she did for him. It was not enough to move his heart. He did rightly let everyone beat him and he felt the full weight of their words. He never denied doing wrong. I’ll give him that much. Though, He has to deal with the guilt for what he did for the rest of his life not her.
