    My Home town, the first falls you come McArthur Glen waterfall has to be one of my favorites & I've photographed many many waterfalls, I was lucky enough to capture it in December 2010 when it was almost frozen over, quite a sight & its never happend since, It's been a few years since I've been right back the glen, if you got up there in 35mins your a fit man, it would take me 15 mins just to get up the zig-zag path lol, many people just walk back to the green dam but the upper glen is a beautiful walk especially in August when the heathers in bloom.
    Another great Vlog keep them coming.

      Thank you Alan. 🙏 I try to stay fit but I do feel it sometimes when hitting the hills. To much wine over the festive period. Soon back up the big ones in 2024. It must of been something to see that when it’s frozen. Again thank you for watching and your support.
      Cliff.

    Hi Cliff. Took a wee wander up here last week with a view to capturing the waterfall. The weather and water level in the stream conspired against me but deffo worth a return visit. Aye, you must of been taking your life in your hands maneuvering down to the stream and then up to the base of the waterfall. Classic Cliff! Ha Ha. Keep up the good work.

    Another great video of superb waterfall shots Cliff. Never been there yet, afraid I’m too old to attempt some of the clambering you do to get these awesome shots. Thanks for all you do and keep safe. 👍

      You don’t have to do what I do Colin.
      In general you can get awesome images at any of the locations I show. Sometimes I’m just a crazy Bugger and do ridiculous angles and positions, but that’s me and everyone knows there limits. It’s a lovely walk and many cascades at Alva glen. Thank you again Colin for your support and kind words. All the very best for 2024. Happy shooting..
      Cliff.

    Great location. I'm only an hour north of here so might go down and check it out.
    I got your book as a Christmas present Cliff which is a wonderfully simple guide to good locations around Scotland with W3W. Unfortunately the print on my copy is so dark many of the photos are impossible to see any detail on.

      @CliffHands  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you 🙏 for taking the time to watch. It’s a brilliant location with many cascades. I will have a look at the book online for the darkness- thank you for this feedback although hopefully it can guide you to the locations and make your own captures on the locations. Thank you again.

    I took note of this waterfall and decide to head up but I took the other path and ended up in the next valley it to has big waterfalls I made my way back up the Alva Glen by the time I got to smugglers cave it thought the light was fading so made my way back down one day I will manage to find the final waterfall 😁👍📷

      @CliffHands  10 месяцев назад +1

      Shame that. It’s a cracker, just about 300m beyond smugglers on the right..
