Hey Guys, As you have probably noticed already i have updated the channel name and logo. The channel is no longer Really Random Channel it is now RRC Restoration. Just incase you were wondering why the water marks in the video still say Really Random Channel. Enjoy.
Absolutely beautiful job Sir. I had this Sport 90 model in 1966. My father bought it for me as a surprise for my 16th birthday. I rode it 300 miles the first day with my friend and his 150 Dream. What a day it was for the both of us!
I was a motorcycle mechanic back when these little engines were popular the Honda 50's 60's, 70's ,90's and 100's were some of the best engines ever produced ! They were just about indestructible
hey Ron,- Greetings from Germany ! Someone (Trike?) in the comments said this: Quote >no grease on the bolts surprised me though(torque settings would be different unless specific for a dry fit)
These videos brought back so many happy memories of my first ever motorcycle back in 1978, a rusty seized Honda C90, got it running and painted it with a brush and used to get to college... and my first feeling of independence. Crashed it so many times pulling wheelies and trying to get my knee down...
@@RRCRestoration If you hold the gear lever down and build the revs up before you take your foot off it , it's like dumping the clutch, you can even get it up in third lol
I’ve never binge watched a RUclips channel before but this is exceptional. Utterly mesmerising, beautifully edited and wistfully comic at times. Superb camera work and unobtrusive and informative subtitles. Top drawer. Thank you very much!
I had a C90 when i was 23. I bought it with my first job. Then I sold it to a frien when I got the chance to go study abroad. He's widow still keeps it as a memento of him. Darn, after watching this series of videos I want another Honda scooter. Thanks for sharing this series of videos and for leting us know how one should take care of those great machines! AG.

There aren't enough words to describe how much respect I have for what you do! Your re-build is meticulous and your videography and lighting are superb. Hi thanks for posting this I just stumbled upon the series and watched all 6 episodes back-to-back I've restored a few myself I have a cm91 have a ct110 and I'm just about to start on my S90 project but nothing to the calibre that you've done some amazing work thank you so much
Outstanding work, a real pleasure to watch having spent so much time maintaining and repairing my own machines in years gone by. I had C50's and C70's in my time but never a C90. You just couldn't kill one if you tried, I had one C50 that I repaired (back end, usual rot). I rode it for a couple of years, gave it to my Father- in- law to get to work on and then he bought a brand new one. The old one had gone round the clock and then some and never missed a beat. It ended up as a field bike for the son of a work colleague to ride on some land they owned. It went on and on. Great little machines. Well done Sir.

You done a wonderful, beautiful, professional job restoring that one of a kind Honda C90, Honda should hire you as a restoration restorer!!! WELL DONE MY FRIEND!
I’ve been meaning to watch this series for months. As a young teenager in the early 70s we all knew that lad who had a placky Honda that wouldn’t quite pass its MOT. In fact most of them were lucky to pass the end of the street and that’s with the fact we were pushing them on public roads...honest. I never thought it would be a motorbike I’d get nostalgic for, but you have shown me it certainly is. A brilliant series of videos, wonderfully constructed with all the information there we need. Everything about your production has been spot on. The restoration itself is nothing short of amazing, even new they never looked so good. And the detail you went to to is absolutely phenomenal, each individual piece was the equivalent of many people’s 'restoration' videos. All round a job you should be very proud of, well done.
Absolutely Fab Restoration , better than mine when it was new, if all manufacturers took that sort of care when building things. Great Job Mate Thanks for the share !!!
DAAAMN! I have a red Honda Supercub 1981 from my Dad (1st hand), still original. I fixed it and looks beutiful classic.. still using 6 volt battery, & still using poin breaker, and it can run until +83 km / hours as a boss! Btw good video bro.
Just watched this back to back videos (too much time on my hands being retired) and i must say it was a pleasure to watch a guy with such talent, well done you sir, im trying to do a c70 but definitely not to that extent, but ive learned quite a bit from this series, simple things (now ive watched this series) that i was finding difficult and pulling my hair out over, so a huge thank you and a great deal of admiration for your skills
Excellent restoration! Great job! The only thing that I’m curious about is why you didn’t do the complete upper? Like new piston, rings, bored and/or honed cylinder, etc? Anytime a cylinder is removed the minimum should be new rings and a hone job I would think. Otherwise excellent work! Keep them coming. I really enjoyed this rebuild!
My friend! I have never felt so blessed watching a video until now. You are an amazing human being. Thank you for sharing, and your hard work! I am sharing this with all my friends. Greetings from Greece. You will always have a place to stay if the road ever brings you here, let me know! God Bless!
man that was an intense restoration! ty for the video! it reminds me of when we worked on my 1977 Yamaha vino 125cc, it wasn't working when we bought it(hubby is a mechanic), after a new battery, new light bulb for the headlight, buying a new carb because the old one was broken, changing the oil, cleaning gas tank, getting a new back tire I feel like we got off easy compared to your rebuild! enjoyed it very much! (my first bike was a honda 70 trail bike)
