@adamvincik3657 I hear you. I hate it cause I do like this young core they have, but the player development hasn't been there, especially for the young bats
I will be so happy if the cardinals get Hagan Smith. People may not know it, but we have a really good group of pitchers on the up in the next couple years. He would a great addition. Tink Hence, Quin Matthews, Cooper Hjerpe, Takoah Roby, max Rajcic, all at AA right now. He would be a great addition to that group
You think my Pirates could go for Christian Moore? I love his game and can see our front office looking for the most pro-ready player to build off Skenes fever. Great video btw
Thank you for watching. I can definitely see it. We know the pirates love their middle infield guys, especially good hit tool second base types. I just think if the board fell the way it did it would be hard to pass up on someone with the potential like Konnor.
So many people have the twins taking a catcher but im really hoping Benge, Waldschmidt, Smith or Honeycutt fall to us. I honestly prefer Lomavita if they do end up going catcher
Royals have a 1st basemen in vinnie pasquantino and even perez occasionally plays 1st now as he is older. I just don’t see us picking hurtz it’s not the fit we are looking for. I would assume we pick outfield early on.
It doesn't make a lot of sense in the short term, but there are a lot of examples of teams taking best player available and making it work later down the line. There are ways to work him in, platoon versus lefties, move Vinnie to DH when Salvy catches, etc. On paper I agree with you, but sometimes front offices just take best player available.
@@AveryTaylor69I feel like the white Sox would rather take griffin than wetherholt because that would just be wasting his years away until they might be decent when he’s 26. However taking griffin means he can progress along with the team and colson Montgomery
You also had a top first base project in Prato and Pasquantino ended up being a huge saving grace after Prato was a bust. Nothing wrong with a depth of good bats
Let's go bucs!!
A fellow Pirates fan in the wild. I never thought I'd see the day 😂. Let's go bucs!
@@AveryTaylor69 hahaha die hard no matter how bad the FO is. They need to make a move BAD

Yeah I don’t know how him and chase burns get out of the top 4. Both look like absolute future aces.
@@blankname6629I don't see how they both go in the top 4. I can't see Oakland passing on whichever of the big 4 bats is available
@@User-b9q2z yeah they both won’t it seems dumb to me. Both have very high floors and high ceilings

Braden Montgomery and Christian Moore are my guys to draft.
So theyre giving up on Ulloa *LSU and Causey*Tenessee????? Wow for Tibbs and Honeycutt? I guess The mlb is looking for batters rn
The mlb draft sure has shifted more towards college players in the draft recently havent they?
I feel like its year by year. A lot more high schoolers seemed to be in the conversation for top 10 last year
For Jurrangelo Cintje I’ve always heard it pronounced Cent-Jah
Bazzana won’t be the first pick it’ll be Caglianone.
nah. as a guards fan i’m hoping for condon. wetherholt. or even bazzana.
Caglianone is not going first overall lol
@@benluecken2839 i wouldn’t rule it out cause i heard guardians want a cheaper option and in baseball it’s not always draft best available
I'd say he's not even in the top 3 players that Cleveland would take. It's gonna be one of the infielders or Burns
