Hi Davud. Because of your kind nature and your purpose in your travels to support the local small businesses, the vendors sometimes take advantage of you. No need to bother about those nasty comments being posted ! Your die-hard fans and channel members support you ♥♥ and we know your kindness and generosity. Btw, that "snake" fruit is called "BUAH SALAK" in Indonesia and Malaysia. Its plentiful in Indonesia as well as Malaysia. The Mount Batur view from the lake is awesome. Hope to see the rest of Indonesia soon...plenty of nice places there. Take care and stay safe Davud...lots of love ❤❤🌹🌹🌹
so many people selling things in Bali.it is ok not to buy anything from them but it is hard for you to reject them because you are a nice and generous guy..
The only thing I dislike about travelling in Indonesia is that I frequently encounter this type of dishonest sellers who will overcharge you. But Indonesia is a beautiful country with a lot to offer that makes me want to return.

David is a Bali newbie. He doesn't understand if you walk away the price drops immediately. Having said that the price for the drawing normally around 60k and 30k for the bracelet. But he is having a good time and I commend his generosity to the Balinese people.
Whoaaa those you bought expensive for sure. You need to bargain more, more and more. I know you wanna helps local economy, but you have to manage your spent as well tho.

@@Davud_Akh hi, i wish the way people think is like you. The capitalism is killing poor people. If only everybody do what you do, the world is gonna be better. Thanks for supporting the locals dude
Tips: In Indonesia you need to master bargaining skill when the stall/shop doesn't have a price list , or else you will be charged with high price Example for 1 kg salak Bali normally the price between IDR 25.000- 35.000 And you can check the normal price using local market place apps ie. Tokopedia, Bukalapak
This is true you need to have some idea of the difference between local price and tourist price, but for me personally speaking as an expat who lives in Bali the price I feel is fair is based on what it is worth to me and how much I can afford, as an expat this is more than most local Indonesian people can afford to pay, I am careful not to get ripped off just because I'm a Bule but I am also very happy to contribute extra to the local people as I think it's only fair that the Balinese people get something positive from me living here because I get something positive from living here.

IDR 120000 for a couple of fruits is for sure expensive but even if you had try to bargain the price of the fruits it wouldn't be much cheaper. Maybe they have a special fixed price for foreigners what they not willing to undercut or fruits are expencise anyway in Bali, I don't know. Everywhere I bought fruits in Bali that was expensive although I bargain they did not want to give me a normal/local price, I have no idea why.
Honestly... 120,000 rupiah for 1 kilogram of Snake fruit (known as Buah Salak) plus 4 pieces of those 'mandarins' - is ridiculously expensive...!!! even by Malaysian standard...!! (120,000 rupiah is around 36 Malaysian Ringgits or almost 8 USD !!)... You obviously has been marked and was given 'tourist' price...
