I treat Indiemaus videos like a movie I get some popcorn I watch it on my TV instead of a phone and always have a great time. This has been a wonderful 3 part video series. Not gonna lie, my favorite moments are always you falling off a cliff or something with the echoing "WAHHHHHHHHHHH". I don't know why but it gets me every time.
To paraphrased someone else, "Miyazaki could come to my house and tell me that the Elden Beast fight wasn't designed to have Torrent available, and I would not believe him."
Joseph Anderson has only had complaints about these games. He slows down footage of arguably the best hitboxes in any games outside of 2D fighting games to say "this shouldn't have hit me I swear I'm not bad" when they could have easily been avoided. He also complains about getting too many healing charges while leveling vigor and endurance far, far beyond anything most people would realistically need. His critiques are a complete and utter joke especially when it comes to Fromsoft games.
I love those little narratives that crop up in the soulsgames of legendary figures. LetMeSoloHer will join the pantheon alongside Giantdad. The god of PVE next to the god of PVP

For the longest time, I thought people were just blowing "Let Me Solo Her" way out of proportion. But then I read an interview with them and they just seem like the coolest person and genuinely what the Souls community SHOULD be about, "Jolly Cooperation". That, and I saw some footage of them fighting Malenia and it was pure art. Great video, Indei, love your stuff!
Most of the Souls Community (even the "toxic" invaders) are totally all about cooperation. It's always the loud and obnoxious ones who catch the spotlight however, with some rare exceptions like this.
What a wonderful gift for a Friday afternoon! In case you were confused about what was happening in the Ranni ending, they bungled the translation and made it sound like she was causing a bunch of terrible shit to happen. She does state what her plan was better in some dialogue post-questline, but for whatever reason they translated her final lines in a weird sentence structure and got rid of the nuance.
It honestly does not sound like she was bad I don't know why people keep saying that the translation makes her sound bad, what she says about an age of darkness is basically the same when you don't link the flame in ds its an age od darkness is basically an age of freedom from the outer gods control, maybe the Japanese dialoug makes it like a positive thing but the english dialoug is better since an age with no gods is not a clear good thing, people will be free to do what they like without rules or guidance like grace that's why it's an age of darkness no light to show the way humanity will have to fumble around to find their way if they ever find it, it's freedom yes but is it good or bad no one can tell, and that's basically her goal kill the two fingers and become a god and then leave humans to fend for themselves without any kind of interference from her or her consort.

Godfrey may be the best melee fight in the Soulsborne series, excluding Sekiro. The rhythm of his attacks + the amount of reward you can reap if you know when to jump strike really make it feel like a test of everything you've learned so far. Can even get a few guard counters in if you know his moves. Hoarah Loux, on the other hand...

Because when he slams down and gets ready to tear up the broken ground texture, it might actually cover his body so that you can't read his tell. The other 2 are definitely worse though. His gold specter ended up being a better fight cause he doesn't spam that or grabs constantly.

Had it not been for you calling the Elden Beast a cosmic dragon thing, I never would have had the thought to try using dragon wound grease on it, and subsequently found out that it works on it. So kudos to you buddy, you helped me become Elden Lord too 👍
The mimic elevator has a large mimic top with teeth and everything, maybe a tongue to grab nearby players, and the bottom lift is the bottom jaw and it slowly grows teeth as the elevator climbs closer up to the mouth. The tongue is used for those who realize last second that they're doomed, and the whole thing is designed as a trap for jumping off to your death. That sounds about like something Miyazaki would make.
