Did the same when I farmed Andy...chopper, swather, big baler they all got the high pressure air before the wash and it saved a huge amount of time. Then inspected for issues, make repairs and full service...in the shed then ready to rock next year. 👍
Always better to clean it up than having it rust away, a few hours of TLC goes a long way. Thank you for taking precious time out of your day to record your day and to edit it for RUclips.
Enjoying the evening finally having a cup of coffee watching you work again. Andy if you feel board I’ve got mine still to clean!!! LOL That’s always I job I dread but it’s gotta be done. Like always Awesome vid.
You know it's not bad. I have been as long as 3 days before washing a combine. I was all set up one time a bunch of years back and the pressure washer I was using took a crap and I only had a couple warm days to work with so I ended up washing it with a garden hose. Now that sucked, if you can get your hands on a big compressor or if you have one that makes the job that much more enjoyable. Leaf blowers suck and shop air ain't enough.
Farming Fixing & Fabricating I agree just have portable on a truck that I started to use last year shop air does suck. I’m like you pretty picky about my equipment costs to damn much anymore. Usually wash wax and put away. It was really muddy here this year. Thought I was done cutting but a cousins machine is down so Sunday we’re headed back east 25 miles to cut beans and milo. Might send ya an email if you don’t mind?
Amazing how fast the sand shooter got loaded with sand at the 1:50 minute mark!!! LoL!! You should check into the 6 series heads there are several different upgrades on them that I like better than the older head. There not priced bad at all of course now they are " out dated " so a little cheaper now! Thanks for another fun video!
Hi Andy , we have 9560 to but it is just a sidehill combine .we are going to have to wash it soon.and the grain cart is going too ,to .are grain cart is a uneferth 7000 a little bigger than yours The tractor is a muddy mess it is a 8430
It's just not worth the money, we have used it did the oil analysis and the whole 9 yards. We change oil every 250 hours and have a load of tractors with over 10,000 hours. The oil we use is about a third of the cost of cen pe co .I would rather run with a cheaper oil and change oil more often than run a real expensive oil just to extend oil change interval.
You are right, no employees were put in harm's way though. As an employer I don't think OSHA can restrict what I do. I could be wrong but at any rate thanks for watching.

I don't know how long you've used it but it looks in good shape doubt it depreciates much👍

Just a side Hill... That's better than what we have. Side Hill is the only way to go. Every combine should be a side Hill machine.
Yes on less you live were the fields do not end and flat we live in Whitney point ny
Must be washing kit full time virtually. I wonder if father Xmas could bring a hot water steam cleaner 😊
Now that would be nice
Looks like fun 😊🌞
She will be affectionately known as christine !
Maybe you buy new combine from shop? Nice combine wash. 👍🏽😉
I want to ride in the vac truck. I thought it was moving wasn't sure, had to rewind the video
You said the other day that you would not use cen-pe-co oil....is there a reason why....just wondering....

Now the mice won't be able to nest in the combine! Guess they'll have to find somewhere else to spend winter!
Moth balls a plenty too.
Now you just need too wax it 😂😂😂
Plenty of life in that girl still.how old is it now Andy??
You know I'm not sure. 14 years old maybe.
@@FarmingFixingFabricating time gets away on You!!👍bit of age about it now.
how often do you change engine oil on that combine
250 hours or at the end of each season which ever comes first.
Did you ever think about getting a hot water pressure washer
The guys would like me to get one. I've never used one before so I don't see the benefits of one.
Where are you located?
New York ( United States)
@@FarmingFixingFabricating how many cows do you milk and is it your farm?
💥⛄️🇺🇸
Nice video, enjoy watching real farm
Just think wheat is only 7 months away
Hope no one from osha watches this video. I see several violations. 😂

Yes, I believe they can? But at least you didn't give them video proof...lol
