@@zacharyshaye he was a "child of war" basically a incarnation of the concept from what i got out of the books, kind of how that mage girl that had fire powers got turned into the bride of death after she killed the guy in the middle of him SA her. Its implied he just popped up but he could've just been a child that got assigned the role due to the circumstances like said girl.

I think i assumed he was Coltaine with no evidence and was so overconfident in my theory that I ignored the reasons for why it wouldn’t work. But now that I think on the ending of Deadhouse Gates, i believe i do recall him being reborn in the Wickan homelands.
