Fully agree with Dan. It is done. Manchester City have won the league. Utter shambolic performance. Subs were all off and why Zinchenko stayed on I do not know
Looking back, I think not having Timber really hurt us this season. We haven’t had a comfortable LB in that position all season. I just hope we can keep it closer than last season, then make some positive signings in the summer

At least Arsenal and Liverpool are self funded. I can remember Man city battling against Charlton to win promotion to Premier league
Don’t forget Arsenal still have to play Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester United.
The pressure will be off by then, so they will turn up.

fully agree with Dan. Havertz in midfield doesn't work. back four of white, Gabriel, Saliba and kiwior has been working just fine. why switch it up ?
Kiwior didn't play the last 2 league games and also was shambolic against Bayern and dragged at half time
He changed the system because he doesn't want to play Partey. Simple as. Emery schooled this clown.
😁
What did Partey do to him ??? This was a game we needed partey to start in...why play havertz in midfield again ??? Keep him at number 9 and play Jesus on the wing...simple, arteta made a rookie mistake
Yeah I agree with this
That's why we need a better manager. Casts out quality for shoddy replacements. Partey is that player who takes us up a gear, pushing forward with penetrating passing and quality movement & retention whilst operating in a phone box. Partey's absences are main reason last season's fluency & flow are still lacking.

Yep, among them, Dan and Lee Judges are the best equipped to deal with reality. Lee has a few lapses in a season though, but he can be honest when the chips are down.
And he said guarantee right there not gonna drop points on will see bro anything can happen
City have won just as many games as Arsenal this season. They have dropped points and they may still. Nothing is certain in this life. Statically it is not over, and I’m going to be pragmatic and treat it as such.
Saw the starting 11 and I just knew it... I f**king knew it. How do you start that team at this stage of the race?? City ain't dropping anymore points from here onwards.
I just can't defend Arteta anymore at this point. He's really let everyone down.
Same as last season. He has a Southgate mentality, worries about the opposition more than having confidence in his players going toe to toe. Small team mentality.
He should take the full responsibilty for the defeat and the fact that Liverpool lost and city had won previously is enough for this stubborn and overconfidence Mikel to go fully hard with strong line up for the game.
Rice running around like a headless chicken, jorginho with assists to the opponents and partey sitting on the bench watch nketiah and ESR play.
Agreed. This defeat is on arteta. Partey is that player that can improve team output and efficiency with early forward passing and intricate movement. Arteta doesn't get it, like not grasping Zinchenko is a colossal liability unfiting of the team nor is Havertz a midfielder ffs. Thank you Arteta for not knowing your job.

Well said Dan. Honest passion, no delusion like the others.. Lost count of the number of seasons we've given up and passed the league to others...
It's happened to a lot of teams including Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea. You forget Liverpool lost it by 1pt twice to Man City but eventually won it. No team has the divine right to stay top. This is not delusion but fact. I don't get our fans. Just a bunch of soft quitters and whiners.
It’s happened to multiple teams and we’ve only come this close last year. And this year we came closer than last. It is not delusional but rather fact that it is not statistically over. And it is a fact that City have won as many games as us. They have dropped points.
"Anything can happen" that only applies if Liverpool or Arsenal were top of the table...Man City...they dont lose points from this stage on.

The biggest kick in the face is Emery saying he didn't really change anything in the 2nd half, Arsenal just dropped their levels.
Odegaard for Smith Rowe was diabolical. Playing both havertz and jesus and leaving nketiah as the only impact sub was amateur. Martinelli on for 20mins and not once did they try to exploit the pace over the top. Bailey comes on for diaby and to not change zinni for kiwior was criminal

Surprised that there were enough fans left to do the fancam. They emptied the Emirates quicker than it took the Villa players to celebrate the first goal.
I remember looking at the rest of the fixtures and thinking out of the three arsenal have games where you can just see them dropping points whereas Man City you just don’t see them really dropping any, and Liverpool was a surprise but at the same time it’s also understandable when you look at a team like Crystal Palace they won’t lose once they got something to play for

It's over. The last time I felt this way was the moment Timber's injury seemed like a cruciate to me at the very beginning of the season. I actually wondered then why we are this unlucky. I believe most people who understood why we bought Timber may have felt terrible as well.
Straight Facts from this guy 💯
We've lost it here except for a miracle but our run in is difficult than for City, Dan has got it spot on
Genuine Arsenal fans knows Arteta can only make us compete but can't take us across the finish line. He always panic with either his team selections or tactics during crucial games and he's not learning from them. The title is easier for us to win this season than last because Liverpool took points off City unlike last season but Arteta will not be able to take advantage of these points trust me, I have seen this cycle over and over again, Even in Wenger's latter years with us. I don't just know why Arteta can't learn and some of us want him to do well just like what Xabi did with Bayer
Kroenke out, wake up and smell the coffee.
To be fair he is a rookie manager facing Pep Klopp, leverkusen play in a 1 team league, guarantee they won't repeat next season...a lot of their players will be bought

Does it not surprise you that xhaka already made up his mind of leaving Arsenal before the season ended????

We are not consistent enough, certainly capable ,but we don’t seem to switch on when it counts.
Arsenal bottle it again while XHAKA WINS BUNDESLIGA
If arteta couldnt see Xhaka and Rice working together then he is more pigheaed than we realise.Xhaka laughing..all his faith in havertz has been a joke..no target man whatsoever.
Totally agree with him. I don't think City will lose points till the end...
so true, this guy speaks fact. No commitment, no hunger. These player are happy to be top 4, same as the baby gunners 15 years ago. They just have zero belief. Odegaard was the only guy in the pitch that was ready for the fight. When you see the post-match declaration from Rice its just abysmal. Incredible player, but mid-table mentality.
Emry's revenge, makes his 2 best games this season against Arsenal and 6p. Outsmart’s Arteta and manage to better motivate his players
Arteta should from till end of season stick with:
Raya
White Saliba Gabriel Tomiyasu
Odegard Partey Rice
Saka. Havertz Martinelli
Subs: Jesus for Martinelli or Havertz. Trossard for Martinelli or Havertz.
Where is Jorginho brother? He has been an absolute mountain for us

Thanks Dan for pointing it out.
Zinckenko picked in this team due to manager favouritism, cause he does nothing on the pitch to justify being picked.
Fight till last seconds!!!...we support the team till end!!!
City thrashed both teams recently in Palace and Villa. and both those teams beat their rivals today. Which only goes to show that City have won the league. No way they will drop points now.
you gotta back your team even when they loose its our first loss in ages
Yeah, the changes should have been at the interval.

Nothing to be optimistic about. Its over
This stage of the season is when we need all the fans on board not just throwing all the toys out of the shower
Agreed 100 %. !
Martineli should have started, the Belgian is more effective comes as a substitute not when he starts
Or Jesus on the left, Havertz up top and Jorgi or Partey in the middle.
I hope we do well in champion league
Dan is pretty hard on us when it comes to his opinions, but where he’s probably right is about Man Citys flipping run in and the chances of them dropping many points
Expert waffling Robbie is back
At least we re competing Dan We have come a long way. Give the team a break
People are nuts to win all 7 would make a record in the prem to win 17/18 games is so rare. We were always dropping points before the end of the season. City will draw at least one game we have to be perfect from now on.
Winning man of the match dictates Smith Rowe is ready to stand in for Martinelli. If Arteta hasn't grasped Zinchenko is a colossal liability then he never will. Denying Partey time amounts to leaving your most dangerous weaponry at home as you step out for battle. These aren't the traits of a title winning manager. We need better. Dan has called it the way it was. Why did Arteta put Havertz back in the midfield and why does he give the walking unforced error that is Zinchenko a game?
I have to agree. Can't see MC slipping up.
The fact that City beat Villa 4-1 and we couldn't find the back of the net once tells you everything you need to know. With the amount of time and money that Arteta has had and spent, we should be brushing teams like Villa at this stage of the season.
Yeah football doesn’t work that way. We also beat teams that Man city lost or drew to….it’s called football.
@@elixir9261 Well obviously. I meant more in terms of asserting dominance when it matters most. And if you give it some thought, that's exactly how football works. Top clubs bring in the best players and cycle through managers until it clicks. Klopp's time at Liverpool will always be overshadowed by what Pep has done at City. And over the last few years Arsenal have spent a considerable amount of money, yet we still lack a certain consistency and that comes down to Arteta. Yes, he has put us in contention for the league and UCL, but does he have what it takes to step out of Pep's/City's shadow?
@@jondoe-du2fr dude, Villa turned up like prime Barca in that game. It happens!

They also needed the game to get into Europe so they turned up better than we did.
“Brushing teams like Villa at this stage of the season”, that’s the arrogance I’m talking about. Have you seen that Villa team? They could afford to have players like Bailey on the bench, they’re focking stacked.
