  • In this video I want to show my homemade LED light for my router Festool OF 1010. I have installed frame which serves as cooling aluminum radiator for 4 LED diods. Driver for them I did install inside the body of router.
Let's connect with me on my instagramm - / mirock79
This is my lumberblog - lumberjocks.com...
I don't know much about LED.
    I've bought these - a-svet.prom.ua/...
Drivers for supply power - svetodiodnyj-dr...
This driver can supply 3 or 4 or 5 diods. Need to attach them sequetially. Also need to remember that diods required cooling. For this use thermoglue like this - a-svet.prom.ua/...
Need to glue diods to cooler radiator. I made it by myself as body because regular absolutely inappropriate by size.
    This is cooler - forled.com.ua/p...
And regular interim platform for fixing - a-svet.prom.ua/...
Last ones I didn't use at all. Too less place for them.
Usually diods glue to them and after these plates glue to coolers by thermoglue. I made aluminum body frame to substitute plate and cooler by it.

*I absolutely love this tool!!! The first one was defective and Dewalt replaced **MyBest.Tools** More bulky than the Bosch and Makita corded palm routers I have but worth it. Nice solid base*

Very impressive, love your detail to the finished product. If you hadn't shown this video and only showed the lighting I would have thought it was original to the router. Well done and thanks for showing us that.

Very well done, Vlad!! I was particularly impressed with the aluminum cooling/holding grid you designed and milled for the LED lights (because they are so easily overheat and burn if not installed properly)!

    • @mirockswoodshop

Yes. The mail task for this aluminum body is namelly cooling. I've done some little space between it and router body to allow air convect free
