You seem to be one of the only creators out there posting content with this ripper. I was in the market and looking around and almost bought another thumb until I happened across these videos on your channel. The design has evolved a bit and improved since this video was released, and it is superior to other rippers regarding stump removal. I reached out to Mark at Manca, and since I live in CT, where his shop is located, I was able to pick mine up the next day! After using it on my U55-5, I can't say enough good things about it. Thanks for the referral!
The teeth are on the wrong side of the ripper and the front side should be sharpened like a knife. That’s how I made mine for my 220 and it’s an extremely fast beast.
That's a big stump...How do you like the Volvo? I've got the kubota 57-4..it seems that all the weight is dirt, once the dirt is mostly off it's much easier to handle.
Man the Volvo is nice. Very smooth, very stable and plenty of power. Comes in around 1,000lbs more than your 57 and it’s nice having the added weight. Not being a zero turn has its downsides but it’s more stable.
Volvo Ecr 5.8 zero swing is also super stable with full loads I have a yanmar 5.5 and a kubota 5.7-4 on my job site they are both a joke of a machine they wanna tip just by extending the arm out
7:34 Love the precision and power of these machines. Great demonstration

You’re very welcome. I just got our larger one for our newest machine and will be doing a video soon.
Nice going to purchase for my 50g
Nice 👍
Nice ripper, put an edge on the front of it it will even work better. Did the to mine, not the same brand. Like the teeth on the back to.
I'm going to make something similar for my Kubota. Might need it a little smaller as my excavator is smaller.

I agree. If you look at my older videos you’ll see me doing that to one

@merterdogan1078 058 is a nice machine. 60 seemed much more stable at the time. I’ve since upgraded to a Kubota 080
The teeth on the back are a excellent design
