Enjoyable vid and pics. Inspiring ideas for this newbie. Got a 7D a year ago as my first DSLR. For a trip with my son on his first time to OR coast, I bought a used, poor man's wide angle a few weeks ago, an EF-S 10-18 f4 IS STM which I thought would be nice for panoramic coastal shots, and close ups in Knick-knack shops. We had to cancel that trip, so it's nice to see perspectives of how this range can be utilized in other ways.
GREAT shots Tim!!! Especially the circular designs - very unique. Street photography has always been one of my favorites because it is extremely challenging for me. Of course we are all too critical of our own work - LOL!! Glad to see you shooting with a friend - love those smiles!!!
Dude! You totally killed it that morning. So many genuinely interesting shots. I remember when you did a photo walk with the 16 mm 2.8 that you had for a little while and I remember really enjoying those shots. But these are even better! I had so much fun that morning. I had a chonk video come out this morning, but not the one from this day. Mine from this day is scheduled on June 26. Again, very interesting set of photos. I think I might have to get myself on the waiting list or maybe try to do a photo walk with my 14-35. Also, I really liked the colors in this particular set of photos. Great job.
Woo-Hoo! Those were some amazing shots! Still in love with the umbrellas- Did I tell you I found the city near Spain (I think) where the floating umbrellas idea comes from? They have hundreds of 'brellas! "Umbrella Sky Project"
I would not have thought the pics with the 10-20 would have turned out as well as they did for street photography. You have some great shots there and showcased the lense (and photographer) capabilities well.
Those are really good shots. I noticed very little distortion on the edges. I wish the same could be said of my RF16mm. I guess that would explain the $2k difference in price. 😆
