This build is best for SOLO play or coordinated groups. If your doing random matchmaking please do not go full glass cannon and use lives to reset your cooldowns. Its very grief. Have a couple defensive modules if your doing matchmaking.

came here just to see what was recommended since i just unlocked him. my ult gley can absolutely rip through bosses but lepic looked hilarious with his sub 10s boss kills. so i farmed ult bunny for farming now just to fully cat lepic and ill be set for almost anything in the future. your guides are a godsend, even though i dont copy them exactly i appreciate the tips towards what im building towards.
Just to let people know something really important about Lepic's ult that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere so far: The animation of getting out the weapon arm seems to count into the total ult duration. You 100% always want to dodge cancel the wind-up animation, this nets you 2-3 extra shots! Slowly getting the ult weapon out is a huge DPS loss. Secondly, I love your guides, you are one of the best TFD content creators out there. For this particular guide though I heavily disagree with the decision to give Lepic survivability at the cost of damage. There is a big difference in solo bossing speed and coordinated group bossing with builds that 100% minmax Lepics intended role compared to the direction you are going in this vid. Your build will turn many a run into an unnecessary two phase. People will copy this and wonder why others do so much better at boss killing and will then need at least 1 catalysator to fix their build at that point in time.
Interesting take as I want to build my ultimate lepic that I just finished researching to 1 phase bosses on hard solo to farm other needed pieces, especially the ones gated for lower percentages. What suggestions/changes would you recommend to the build presented in the video?
@@karlmay7563 The slot I was mainly referring to is the C one. You'd want to run two Xantic instead to fit both Dangerous Ambush and Maximize Power. You will then have to switch Technician out, you can either go Strong Mentality there or switch the Polarity to something else, like an A for Fire Synctium. MP Accelerant can be switched to Spear and Shield to then have at least a little bit of defense + Skill Power, but it feels like that's a bit flexible. Maximize Power has to be used, there isn't really a way around it. "I don't want to force you guys into that playstyle" just because it might require a death to reset cooldowns quickly doesn't feel right in the context of minmaxing a Bosskiller.
Your mobbing build for Lepic has been so much fun! Only have regular Lepic atm as my main, but even still its a heap of fun to use and so effective especially with thunder cage once they are all bunched together.
If you wanna deal 2% more damage and dont mind a 50% cooldown increase (because youre trying to 1 cycle anyway) You can swap from Fire Specialist to Maximize Skill. If you want a 6% faster cooldown and dont mind a 2% damage decrease you can swap to from Fire Specialist to Focus on Fire 👍
Any nerfs affecting this build? I have preferred mods/equipment/reactor with the exception of max mp on that slayer piece. I come nowhere remotely close to whats shown.

Off topic but could you talk about jayber being bugged af maybe attempt a build that makes his turrets be more than decoys (turret sync gives half the dmg boost it's supposed to but skill power modifiers don't actually give a increase even tho it shows in the stats)

You can get Enduring Legacy to a magazine size of 172, allowing for Mental Focus to work really nicely even though a non-Gley character is using the weapon. Giving a large maxed buff for 22 rounds.
@@YurJaeHuyk No. Enduring Legacy was just an extra thing he has in the video and doesn't really have to do with the big skill DPS Lepic build. My comment was that there are other ways that are possibly better to build the Enduring Legacy ultimate LMG, since the gun was brought up.

If you're set up for infinite ammo simply, instead of just shooting in the air, you might as well just shoot with the infinite ammo right away, since your CD and Duration should be setup to have permanent uptime (hence infinite). It is by far better however to use something with a higher Fire Rate (Python being the best, since it can use an Ultimate Reactor too) and using Massacre. You can then get the super buff from 150 rounds almost instantly with a 1222 Fire Rate when modded, ON TOP of all the skill dmg being added because of Massacre.
I had already built up a bossing lepic real similar to this. But this mobbing build is legit awesome, it's crazy fun to watch everything flying. Way funner than the other mobbing build I was using
i do not understand how you are doing soo much damage, i did the exact same build and the boss after just walking away from my ult every shot i take at him, it still at 100% hp and 25-75% shield? what in the hell am i doing wrong? i even tried on dead bride whos weak to fire and i managed to damage 25% of her shield
I follow his mod guide and i have a better reactor than him (1 gold additional atk agains colossus and 1 gold crit damage) but somehow my damage seems below him. My crit damage is 7 mil- ish, and im struggling solo against swamp walker. I can still beat swamp walker solo but in 1 min and i have to die couple of times first. Against devourer is 10 seconds. Still not as effortless as him in beating boss solo
I've been using him since I've got him, and he carried me all the way to Frost Walker. I still need to get a good reactor for him and his ultimate module. So far I've been leveling up bunny I got ult viessa so I am gonna watch your video once I am done with ult bunny.
I like these builds & as a Lepic main i love it. I spent so much on other trash ones that ive been farming non stop. I was dead when you got to components and said... "MP MP MP!"😂
Hey moxsy, great video but quick correction. With legendary reactors you have to have the weapon equipped in order to gain the extra benefits. So in order to max dps you want to have a type of smg
This is completely backwards. The gun doesn't matter. What matters is that Sharp Precision Shot on general ammo weapons stacks every 1.5 seconds, while Sharp Precision Shot on impact ammo weapons stacks every 0.8 seconds. Plus there's only 4 impact ultimates for the reactors to pick from.
@SectorZZ9 if you have a legendary reactor and are not using the reactor you are missing out on the damage. Smg scales faster with sharp precision shot so technically it gains a higher dps increase Edit: Impact rounds actually scale faster, my mistake.
Why did you use technician over tech specialist? Maybe it has changed since this video, but when I did some testing (wasting a catalyst, so that sucked) Tech Specialist seemed to do more damage with the dots, but similar damage with the shots.

Does this build even still work? I have everything the exact same as you do in this video and when I pop my 4 and light up Executioner, by the time my 4 is done I've only taken away half his shield. Idk if they patched this build out or something, but it's not working for me
I have one question and probably not that good of a question but once I see something strange and I don't quite understand then I have to ask. Your Perforator build not that it's needed but why didn't you put Sharp Precision Shot in the slot with the emblem, same goes for the R slot any of the other 2 modules could have went there? On console, I always feel like I need to replace something in these builds with a stability mod to make up for Action & Reaction. It sucks, but it'd still be cool to see that get a mention for controller players 🤘
Thx for your hard work with these builds. Got ultimate Lepic this morning and I came straight to your builds :) Already completed my first lvl up 1-40. It will take a few days but I hope by next week end this build is fully copied. I do not have the perforator yet but the blue beetle is also an impact weapon that uses the same mods as perforator for hit rate. Just need to adjust the reactor for the right weapon.

With the update, I switched the polarities for nimble fingers and put in skill concentration on the mobbing setup and that’s been working very well for me. I didn’t make sense for me to have 1 crit mod as chance and damage go hand in hand together

Does this build only come online with full sockets and full slayer components? I have all the mods and 6 sockets so far and a good reactor but it feels like it does nothing against the bosses. I was hoping it’d make at least some impact as I farm for a fully socketed ult Lepic.
Hi Moxsy, loved the video. Im aware of the other lepic vid as well because its getting recommended a lot in my feed. lol but Can you take a look at Scarlet Garden gun? Apparently, it has a unique pest control ability that might seem beneficial on Lepics 4th build. I only unlocked the base of the gun right now and planning to max the gun for my lepic and other build descendant. Also, this gun is on orange ammo and I have a special mod which lowers the crit resistance 25% of an mob for 10s. maxing it out lowers the CD of this mod only. I dont know if this mod works on 4th skill of lepic just like how fire rate module is or but 10 sec duration debuff would also be good on lepic's 4th skill build, no?
One thing I don’t understand, is your budget and bossing setup has 85 capacity and your mobbing has 84? Did you record your mobbing setup before you hit a mastery rank to increase your capacity? Just wondering how the capacity numbers are different
I did my build according to this video but i can't get it to work. The only thing i'm missing is the extra colossus damage on the reactor, is that such a huge part of it? The bosses don't even get staggered like in this video, i don't understand.
Would Sharp Precision Shot work with the Freyna bossing build? So that, rather than speccing for skill duration, you can add in some extra skill damage mods and skill cooldown mods, and just run *even more* ammo capacity mods on your weapon?

Have you actually tested the damage between Technician and Tech Specialist? I know Tech Specialist modifiers does not show in the Overkill tooltip but is definitely resulting in bigger numbers for me in the training dummy. That mod is the only thing different with my build.
Question: Would it be ok if you take out either emergency measures or front lines for a skill cost module? so you can shoot even more. I haven't tried it, but what do you think. Ps: also skill cost seem to be good with him if you dont have extra damage for colossus

Max MP is very important as I experienced the same issue and it was fixed with Max MP

It’s probably your reactor. The roll on those matters a lot
I have x2 reactors. Crit rate/colossus and crit damage/critrate. Lepic is 50/50 on damage....

Notice that in his opening clips he has 3 other lepics also spamming their ults. So you should really expect to do maybe a third of that damage

From my understanding, the fire rate of the weapon doesn't matter, only having the modules equipped matters. Try it out on a sniper rifle.

Does this build even still work? I have everything the exact same as you do in this video and when I pop my 4 and light up Executioner, by the time my 4 is done I've only taken away half his shield. Idk if they patched this build out or something, but it's not working for me
I have one question and probably not that good of a question but once I see something strange and I don't quite understand then I have to ask. Your Perforator build not that it's needed but why didn't you put Sharp Precision Shot in the slot with the emblem, same goes for the R slot any of the other 2 modules could have went there? Just something that caught my eye and I had to ask. Other than that little OCD conniption I find all your videos and or guides for TFD to be great and informative. Keep the grind going my guy. I do the same, I think because you can achieve very good results with several different mod combos with him. Very well done character design imo

On console, I always feel like I need to replace something in these builds with a stability mod to make up for Action & Reaction. It sucks, but it'd still be cool to see that get a mention for controller players 🤘

Got ultimate Lepic this morning and I came straight to your builds :)
Already completed my first lvl up 1-40. It will take a few days but I hope by next week end this build is fully copied. I do not have the perforator yet but the blue beetle is also an impact weapon that uses the same mods as perforator for hit rate. Just need to adjust the reactor for the right weapon.
Tried the build on a few bosses. Rng plays a role in it for sure! I'm just glad in coop fights I didn't eat floor the whole fight.
For anyone who needs to know….. yes you can get firearm master from combining transcendent mods. I just got it 2 Kyle mods 1 Gley and 1 Viessa.

Lepic Build has been the most satisfying and fun to play with for me.
With the update, I switched the polarities for nimble fingers and put in skill concentration on the mobbing setup and that’s been working very well for me. I didn’t make sense for me to have 1 crit mod as chance and damage go hand in hand together

It took me 2 days to get everything for him that with some brakes as well he’s easy to get
I farmed him in one day before outposts but I got super lucky and building him takes while too
@JDMaxelakidd3 Focusing on Ultimate characters is the way in the game. You'll get most of other weapons materials + EA and catalyst blueprints

Does this build only come online with full sockets and full slayer components? I have all the mods and 6 sockets so far and a good reactor but it feels like it does nothing against the bosses. I was hoping it’d make at least some impact as I farm for a fully socketed ult Lepic.
Mostly you need the whole build and you need a good slayer set with purple or gold max mp
amazing build! but for the weapon does the bonus stats matter on it ? like the "firearm atk" and stats like ""Bonus Firearm ATK (Vs. Colossus)" ?

Hi Moxsy, loved the video. Im aware of the other lepic vid as well because its getting recommended a lot in my feed. lol but Can you take a look at Scarlet Garden gun? Apparently, it has a unique pest control ability that might seem beneficial on Lepics 4th build. I only unlocked the base of the gun right now and planning to max the gun for my lepic and other build descendant.
Also, this gun is on orange ammo and I have a special mod which lowers the crit resistance 25% of an mob for 10s. maxing it out lowers the CD of this mod only. I dont know if this mod works on 4th skill of lepic just like how fire rate module is or but 10 sec duration debuff would also be good on lepic's 4th skill build, no?

One thing I don’t understand, is your budget and bossing setup has 85 capacity and your mobbing has 84? Did you record your mobbing setup before you hit a mastery rank to increase your capacity? Just wondering how the capacity numbers are different
No it was his descendant level. You can see it was at 40 when he had 85 and when he had 84 he was at lvl 39

Would it not be better getting a purple reactor so your still getting a bonus just by having a weapon equipped when using your unique weapon?
I did my build according to this video but i can't get it to work. The only thing i'm missing is the extra colossus damage on the reactor, is that such a huge part of it? The bosses don't even get staggered like in this video, i don't understand.

Would Sharp Precision Shot work with the Freyna bossing build? So that, rather than speccing for skill duration, you can add in some extra skill damage mods and skill cooldown mods, and just run *even more* ammo capacity mods on your weapon?

Same build. Firearm master is contributing 2% increased damage to the Ult impacts. It helps with the burns but it’s not overly important

Have you actually tested the damage between Technician and Tech Specialist? I know Tech Specialist modifiers does not show in the Overkill tooltip but is definitely resulting in bigger numbers for me in the training dummy. That mod is the only thing different with my build.
Question: Would it be ok if you take out either emergency measures or front lines for a skill cost module? so you can shoot even more. I haven't tried it, but what do you think. Ps: also skill cost seem to be good with him if you dont have extra damage for colossus
