I have had the Austin Spectra for 15 years on my truck up in the mountains of Big Bear lake. It has been a solid performer in all-weather wet and dry even though it was mounted on a mag mount NMO. That's my only complaint is the mount. I've never had an antenna that how to ring that went around and locked down on the NMO. Although the PCtel looks funky if I didn't need an antenna for low band I would consider it. Do the health considerations, I am now living in San Bernardino in an apartment where I cannot put an antenna on the roof. Austin sells a 4-foot nmo extension did effectively makes a coaxial sleeve antenna out of whatever you put on the top of it. It's got the NMO at the top that comes down to a SO239 at the bottom. I'll let you all know how well it works.

You put out a quality product bra, it's easy to keep showing up. I always get something out of your vids.
Looking forward to the second vid, it just so happens I need a couple of multi-band antennas for the family trucksters.
