Try playing octaves through that SubnUp while it's set up to sound like an organ. CRAZY SOUNDS! Super fun, and with the Cathedral reverb it's mind bending.
Hi Tomlin, really like your videos and I'm actually thinking about getting a Lunchbox... but actually the new version (LB Reverb) sounds differently and seems to be a totally different designed amp/speaker ... so did you ever test the new against the old version for harmonica? Or do you know about a valid comparison published on the net? Thanks in advance! Michael
I've got a Shure SM58 going straight into a PA for vocals and clean harmonic for gigs. Is there a pedal I can put in that chain to get that beautiful stanky blues tone?
Hi Tomlin! I'm a bit puzzled by the order of pedals you mention, as I can't identify the effects from the pedals brand names. Do you picture them left to right or right to left? Am I right to assume that you're using guitar pedals, not specific harp ones? Thanks for your excellent vids and pedagogy.
TOMLIN, which harmonica effects pedal matches the harmonicas microphone "Impedance" with the guitar amplifiers input impedance and also gets that Honky midrange tone?
Thanks for sharing Tomlin. I found it interesting that you use guitar pedals. I have been trying to figure out why people seem to say that I can't plug my mic into the guitar section of my voicelive touch product because it gets over loaded but no one seems to know. Any thoughts?
If your band has a big pa ,can you just bypass an amp and go with a pedal for tone direct to pa? Is there a pedal that'll give you the blues grit direct to pa ?
Have you ever tried any of the multi effects pedals with the Richard hunter patches? If I'm doing some funk or something weird the q-tron envelop filter has a really cool sound with the harp!
Do you have a video on how you hold your hands? I see all these players use their hands and I've finally got the note-bending down but I feel like I'm missing out on my hands
Hi Tomlin. Great video - can you confirm is the amp ZT Lunchbox Junior (or the standard Lunchbox)? I'm looking for a portable busking amp and this is one of the options, with the battery pack, but I want as few effects pedals as possible.
Pig nose the Hog 30 Hog 20 or the original Pig nose 7-100 all battery powered and fairly light all are tone machines and sound good with mic and harp Google em to look at them and check the specs The smallest 7-100 is 5 watts the 20 is 20 watt and the 30 is remarkably 30 watts After market batteries are available

Great info as usual- thanks Tomlinson
Would you use a harp attack depending on what after using?
Very informative. I got Shure mic that needs a pre-amp will I still need that. I used a pedal before and it seemed to boost the mic suffecientlly.

You need a high Z microphone connected directly to the pedals and from the pedals straight into amp.
