As an athiest (no I am not coming to start trouble) I think your reaction to this song is the best I have seen... even for us non Christians this song has a lot of meaning.. I don't say this often of "christians" but dude you have my respect... I know that probably does not mean much... because you are right. A lot of Christians are not loving... caring... as a matter of fact I have grown up in the Bible belt and have not! met many very true christians!
The one met probably aren’t true Christians, but we have flaws like you. We are not always perfect in our walk, but to be a critic towards Struggles music or his believes is damaging. This critic says he’s a pastor, but we are not to judge each other either.

What most people don’t know is Christianity was not created by Rome until the 3rd Century when the Hebraic Messianic Faith was blended with Babylonian Mythraism by Constantine. Also when he created Christ-Mass from Saturnalia and the fake stupid holiday called Easter and gave their pagan messiahs the name Jesus and claimed it represents the Hebrew Messiah. It is a smokescreen.. Christianity was intentionally pillaged by the Jesuits over the last few centuries with ideologies and fairy tales like the pre trib rapture to confuse and deceive people.Known as the counter reformation. I was a counterfeit christian over 40 years. I left the traditions and lies behind for Biblical Truth. Now I am observant of the Everlasting Covenant known as the Sabbath. I have learned about the Biblical Holidays and Feasts like all believers should and have tried to separate myself from christianity and recondition myself to live by Scripture and not counterfeit christianity. I do my best to rest and keep that Covenant as commanded. Salvation is not exemption. I actually really enjoy the Sabbath and used to meet at the river with brothers for Mitzvah to wash away the sins before Shabbat. It’s just a ritualistic thing but it was very fulfilling. We just went in the river and submerged, prayed and yelled HalleluYah! People would be drawn to join us. Sins were washed away by the Messiah’s blood. He became the sacrificial Lamb. But He came to fulfill the Sabbath, not replace it. Unlike what Jesuit ideology teaches. Because they want people in church on SUN-day. There is a reason Rome changed their sabbath to Sun worship Sun-day. They claim to replace Messiah on earth and claim to have the authority to change Scriptures and the Sabbath. Rome created christianity. When I was young a lot of the BS ideology stuff from christianity made no sense to me. Nobody could make sense of it either. It’s called discernment. Christianity is truth mixed with lies and paganism. But if you open your heart and soul to the Holy Spirit, Ruach Ha-Kodesh, you can be led by the Abba Creator and not by men. Men will mislead you. Stay away from deceived people that try to tell you the Sabbath is void. The Sabbath is God’s Mark. It is His Everlasting Covenant and it is for us. Rest is crucial for health and wellness. Shabbat is crucial for the personal spiritual relationship with your Creator. Sabbath is official after the first 3 stars appear at sunset Friday and ends after the first 3 stars appear on Sabbathday. (Rather than Satur(n)day)

I'm the same age, I turn 55 in Aug. Did you listen to the old school Christian rock? Petra, Steve Taylor and Someband, Steve Camp, Michael W.Smith ? There's tons more it wasn't being played on secular stations, just Christian. So in that way it's nice these modern day singers putting their songs out there more.. The Christian Rock I listened to was radical Christian, so it wouldn't go over as easily. As a teen, it fed my soul deeply, and grounded a lot of my beliefs, the scripture comes back to me through the music I constantly listened to.. So it was good to feed my souls as a teen.

Few songs have moved me as much as this one, so appropriate for these times especially. You are right, people don't think so much about why they say what they say, more like they learn a script from their tribe (of "liars and abusers") as to what they are supposed to say.

I love this song. And as a mother of a child who was molested this song reaches my heart & soul. Any parent who has been through that can relate to how life changing it was. It was a family member who done that to my daughter and he ADMITTED he done it. His parents chose to support him. Once he realized the time he would face in prison he changed his story and said he didn’t do it (he had already wrote his confession). I lost my whole family. My daughters life is forever changed. People like that is why victims don’t come forward. Yes God we need you now!

Please explain, over and over and over, that nothing she or you did or didn't do, caused this! This is a betrayal of trust. An AMBUSH! You can't prepare for it you can't defend against it. BUT you can survive it! Until your precious child and you KNOWS this and UNDERSTANDS this truth, it will remain an open wound. When You and your child KNOW this truth, then it WILL become a scar and life will be lived again.
I honestly do not what to say...but keep the Lord on your side and things will improve. I am so very sorry about your child. Praying The Lord handles this in his awesome way...God says "It's better to put millstone around your neck than to harm a child of God!!!!" Trust in The Lord, he will overcome this for you in a huge way!!

As a Pastor, and realizing the war that is waged upon us, God or Jesus never said we have to be victims, many don't reference back to the old testament in the books of Moses, having God's law explained to us; a good example is Exodus chapter 22, which explains how to deal with properties being damaged or stolen, reference this and see exactly how God tells us to deal with one another. Remember God does not change, and we are not exempt from following his laws, he knows we are sinners, and this is why Jesus came, so we have an advocate and a buffer zone between us and the Father. God bless, and never accept being a victim, that is not in God's plan for us.

Raised to do and say what's right, I clicked mainly because I was expecting a completely different reaction because your being a pastor and whatnot. I grew up in a Christian household and my mom(biology my great grandmother) was a true and loving front row Christian, when she passed away, I found out how detached from God they were for kicking me out at 16. I was homeless for 6 years, ended up addicted to several substances, lost faith in God and almost succeeded in taking my life when someone noticed the growing red stain under my left wrist on my jeans when they walked by me in the alley I was sitting in, they brought me back to God while waiting because they kept praying until the 🚑. Thanks for crossing my feeds, not being so critical about how people express, and not being the stereotype Christian, you have gained a sub on RUclips and a garden dog to your flock.

I definitely recommend that one too! Struggle is very raw but he speaks on things that's very raw & real & stuff that ppl don't like to talk about but need to. He's so underrated & has came a long way & I'm very proud & can't wait to see him & jelly roll this October! Both are amazing. Idk if it's been a reaction to "somebody save me" by jelly roll but it's beautiful!!

This song hits me hard n hurts, so heart n soul touching. I'm Native American, I lost my 4 bros to two suicides n two murders. We had lost our mom to murder at 3 to 7 yrs old. We lived with other family, but were badly abused in various ways. We grew up to young adulthood being lost n broken without parental guidance. My bros were 21 to 25 yrs old when they passed, the worst heartbreaks in my life. Living life as an alcoholic, I had finally found my way to God, my journey n path of healing has been a struggle, going thru ups n downs with my 4 beautiful precious children n 10 grandchildren. The song makes me so emotional, I never wanted my children to go thru the things I had, but no matter how hard I tried to protect them, they had also been hurt too. So as a family we're healing with God guiding us. We live our tribe's traditional spiritual ways. Altho they're young adults, they help guide me too, I'm so blessed with my precious family.
We keep our world's children in our hearts n prayers, no child shud have to suffer in any way, praying for God to guide us all, God bless u all ❤

I used to be a high priestess of a Wiccan coven before I came to Christianity. Since then I have noticed a lot of hate lately. People fight about every little thing. It actually saddens me to see the hate and vitriol in society today. It really is disheartening. This song just resonates with so many people. This is easily in my top 5 of favorite songs. I am not a perfect Christian but I do try to show love even to those who say so many hurtful things.

As a Christian pastor have you ever wondered why the catholic church was solely responsible for the dark ages and the removal of books in the original word of God like the book of enoch, when enoch was such a great man in god that god spared him death and brought him to heaven directly so if he was that pleasing in God's eyes who do they think they are to make the decision to take something out written by such a man, or why do Christians celebrate pagan holidays such as Christmas or Easter which no way shape or form has anything to do wearing a cross around they're necks when christ said not to make a symbol to him when people read the word do they hear what he says.

I have never watched one of your reactions. I was just looking for another reaction to this song. Your words rang through me like a shockwave! It's like you said what I have been thinking my whole life. I always wondered why so many Christians in my life seemed to constantly feed me with fear but in the same breath tell me that God was pure love. It always felt like I was I was doomed no matter what.

I grew up as a peace maker, but turned to being a defender. I don't promote violence in anyway, but if I can't end a situation as a peace maker ,I will go to my defender mode, and it will end. God please forgive me... I'm no Saint but I'm not nor will I ever be an evil man. I've been lied to and/or cheated on by 5 wives. So I've had to crawl back up out of the darkest places. I'm giving love one more try. I'm with the best woman that I've ever been with, but I'm also a broken man. So I have trusting issues. This song really hit home and also hurt at the same time. I think God ever day for everything I have, and I'm greatful for everything I have. I'm a simple man, don't need much from this man's materialistic world. I pray daily, but mostly for other people. As for myself I just pray to thank the good Lord for giving me another day and another chance to keep trying to better myself. This song will be a daily inspiration for me to remind me we all will have to answer to our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope from here on out... I will have no more regrets. If you are an atheist; may i just say this; i am a christian that has a wonderful god...the holy spirit, does NOTHING by mistake. No matter what Jesus, does love you!! The God of Isreal will always be here for you; he wants real followers that truly love and adore him. I myself have been to the middle east; been in a horrible accident; never was harmed in war. I feel that I have a wonderful strong relationship with God. When he's ready for me to come home, I'll go. When He lets me know what I need to do I listen. In my 50 yrs. on this earth everyone that has said "I'm a Christian" has always stabbed me in the back. I solely go off of someone's character and their actions. The actions speak louder than words do. Those that claim they don't believe in God, actually do but are afraid to admit it. I love God, He has put me here for a reason and HE is the only reason I will ever hit my knees for. No person on this earth is worth me getting on my knees. I believe in reincarnation, I believe that we need to live in sync with the nature. I believe there is something bigger than us, but I do not believe in God as such. My brother and his wife are Christians, they also work for the church here in Finland. They are amazing and kind and they do not try to push their beliefs on anyone. I really love this song and I hear what they are saying - we as people have gone nuts. In many ways. We hurt each other, we hurt this planet. But I hate anything and everything that is judgemental. For example I've got lots of gay friends and there are these Christians telling them they are sinners. I recommend a song Amen by Hozier, if you haven't seen it yet. God has Spiritual Warfare as a part of my ministry, and I it is concerning how the general public views protecting themselves and other not able too. Even Jesus said to the apostil's before Peter cut off the guards ear, how important it is that we get armed, because with Jesus leaving us of our own devise, we will have to be able to protect ourselves; translated this statement of his says, get armed, even if the cost is our attire, selling your cloths to get armed, is pretty drastic, but the emphasizes the importance of it.
