Loved the old west music intro you added ! Texas Roadhouse is our favorite steakhouse. We used to go there about every weekend for months when our location first opened. The ribs ARE great! Out of our numerous visits we have had maybe 2 times where there was an issue with the food or service. They are consistently great. I hate they did away with the peanut bucket at the tables too.. That MADE the dining experience unique. I guess Covid did away with buckets? Texas Roadhouse is definitely the place to go and eat and NOT a place to converse in conversation,lol due to the loudness of the place.
Yes, I thought the Western music would be a nice touch. I've been trying to do that lately, with any steakhouse video that we do. And I have to agree with you, that the ribs were really good. Actually, we've been there a couple of times since covid, and they had the peanut buckets. This is the first time I remember them not having them. Don't get me wrong- I love the food...BUT...if I am going to drop 50 plus dollars on two meals, even at a casual steakhouse, I appreciate a peaceful enviornment, so it's a infrequent stop for us.

Yes, I was wanting to find some copyright free western music to add to the steakhouse experience, as I have been doing that for the past couple of steakhouses we have been to. And I am glad I did on this one, since the restaurant's music was playing so loudly at times. We would certainly have gotten a copyright hit for that.
We have two TR's nearby and they are both loud! Derrick, regarding your preference for A-1 sauce, stick by it. You have nothing to defend. No different than my preference for mayo and a little bit of raw onion on a hamburger... without cheese! I get so many snide comments for not wanting cheese on a hamburger! This was a good review. Texas Roadhouse is one of our go-to restaurants at home. David usually picks out a big ole ribeye out of the case for his meal. Of course I get chicken. They have the best rolls there. They have not been doing the peanuts in a bucket for awhile at our local TR. They would always give you peanuts to go if you asked but in a brown paper bag. They have been giving out the packaged ones for quite awhile at our location. I've also seen different groups selling the bags of peanuts for a fundraiser. I'm assuming they give them a certain amount of bags to support their organization. They probably put the A1 n the containers to cut back on theft of the bottles. A1 is our favorite too! We always have a good meal there.. I enjoy the sweet potato there. We usually use the call ahead seating. The people and music does make it difficult to do a video. Dinner and a concert on a Thursday night! BTW what kind of phone did you get? Great detailed review!
Our phones are Samsung Galaxy A53, which is similar to our previous Galaxy A51, except that the camera is slightly different. I would manage to get my finger in videos with the other one at times, too. It had been maybe a year or slightly longer, since our last visit to TR, but I thought I had remembered them still having the peanut buckets then. I know this is the first time we've got them in a a sealed plastic bag. As far as picking out your own steak, I thought about doing that. But I really couldn't tell a lot of difference between them. What is the difference between doing that, and just ordering them off the menu? Yes, this was probably about the loudest music I've ever had, while doing a video. The only other place I had gotten A-1 not in a bottle, was The Alamo back in 2021. It was in packets like you would get your ketchup or mustard in. But they went back to bottles the last time we were there. I just wanted to make sure I was getting the real thing...LOL. And it was. I can tell the difference. The rolls were certainly good, but quite large. I only ate 1, because Shawnasi really likes yeast rolls. So, she had those 3, plus the additional 4 we didn't ask for, which we simply got a box for, and took home. When you got the sweet potato, did you get the one that they were advertising on the little screen, that she mentioned? She didn't notice that one until she had already gotten hers. @@NCMemoryMakers We have only used iphones. We are use to it and just continue with the iphone. Many people like the camera on the Galaxy. I think they started changing things up during Covid. I can remember going to the restaurant and having almost nothing on the table. You can definitely tell the difference between A1 steak sauce and other brands. I always get the sweet potato with butter, sugar, and cinnamon. I never have tried it with the other stuff. I didn't know honey was an option but knew they had the marshmallow topping. I can't imagine using anything but A-1 on a good steak. It makes a good steak better. It is no different than putting BBQ sauce on brisket or pulled pork, mayonnaise on a burger, or ketchup on french fries. I happen to like it. Not sure why that is such an issue with so many people. It is actually okay, that people are not all the same and like to eat foods in different ways. Like you said, to each their own.

You complain about your ribeye being over seasoned with too much salt, how could you possibly tell how it was seasoned when you literally poured a whole bottle of A1 sauce on it? With that much A1 sauce on it, how could you possibly taste the steak?

Also, from your comment, you seem to be a chap that likes to exaggerate a lot. First off, why exaggerate to make your "point"? I did not "literally pour a whole bottle" of A1. Second, I actually went back and watched this video again, because you said I complained about the steak being too salty. That's another exaggeration, at best, and a fabrication, more accurately. I actually simply mentioned in passing, that they might have over season the steak a little bit. And that was compared to the many other steaks I've had at this SAME establishment, so I actually do have something to compare it to. And I had A1 on those other ones, as well. But again, to say that I complained, is an outright fabrication/exaggeration. To further answer your question, the other way I can tell, is that I have eaten probably a few hundred steaks in restaurants in my life. And I've also grilled at least that many more at home. I know what a steak is supposed to taste like, even with A1. And I know what Texas Roadhouse steaks typically taste like. We completely agree. The noise was worse this time, than we remembered it being before.
