Update: Canadian Tire wouldn't even POST my question, citing that it somehow broke website terms and conditions. That pretty much answers it. It's really bad that they won't sell replacement bulbs for a set sold under their own house brand.
*_I KNOW..._* right...?! This is especially the case when no seller on Amazon will ship these kind of G40 Christmas light replacement bulbs to Canada!!! (I know this because I have clicked on the link in the description that you gave us viewers and found out that this product doesn't/can't ship to Canada.)
That's a really nice set! I have always much preferred incandescent over LED lights.. I agree that they're too expensive to light a full-size tree with them, but I'd certainly consider buying a set or two for their novelty to hang on the wall or string around a door frame.. Unfortunately they don't seem to be on the U.S. market, or at least a brief search on Amazon didn't reveal them.. While their selection is dwindling, I was delighted to see that The Home Depot is still carrying a selection of incandescent mini, C7 and C9 sets this year, as well as their respective replacement bulbs.. They all sell under the brand 'Home Accents Holiday'.. The C9 sets are a modest ~9 dollars for a set of 25.. I bought 4 strings of the C9 sets to take to work last year and was completely satisfied with the quality.. They bring in a lot of complements..
Nice set of lights, Have you thought about running them via a dimmer to slighty reduce power consumption, heat and extend lamp life. what makes them suitable for outdoor are there rubber seals round the bulbs and what about the socket on the end. I live in the UK so any thing outside has to survive getting wet and we have 230V AC
hey, I was at Canadian Tire today in Winnipeg. I thought of you when I saw these same lights for sale at my local Canadian Tire. I did see simuliar colour spare bulbs at CT. C7s but in tear drop shape. Did you see the other vintage styles NOMA sells at CT?
I *_sincerely hope_* that these will be available at Canadian Tire during Christmas 2020, as I missed out on buying these during last Christmas season!
Here's the weird thing - there *was* a set of Heritage bubble lights, but NOMA discontinued them nationwide, just a few months after introducing them. I don't know why they would do that - they would have been by far the most popular set in the Heritage series.

I know I have an obsession with and/or soft spot for vintage design, so this is cool for me to see!

These look very nice!
I would consider to maybe sell the c7s you just bought and to buy more of these!
Glad to hear they’re incandescents. I absolutely HATE LED christmas lights
15:05 Yeah that's what will happen there are all kinds of very old fashion Christmas lights you can get online if you don't want LED.
Where do you find these?
hi the lights look very cool you can buy c9 led plasick bulds and c7 led bulds on amason
Bulb replacement might be an issue.
Not at all - identical replacement bulbs are cheaply available on Amazon and other retailers.
I love those
Interesting I never knew NOMA was still around
Too bad there wasn't a set of heritage bubble lights!

@@themaritimegirl Yeah... especially when Noma was *_the_* company to first introduce them in the 1940's!
Not trying to be mean here but this really did not need to be 20 minutes long. 5 minutes would have sufficed. But thanks!
Then watch a different channel, shithead.
NO REPLACEMENT LIGHTS. BUMMER
Amazon carries replacements: www.amazon.com/SkrLights-Frosted-Multi-Color-Candelabra-Replacement/dp/B07SKV3JTK
these are not colour globes just clear white.
THIS IS NOT A GOOD REVEW. don't need to know what lights you bought before these. you should stick to the issue at hand. long winded....
And yet you watched the whole thing. Amazing!
