The people in your audience have no idea how long it takes to learn a language, they keep spamming to learn spanish, as if you can magically wake up and do it. It takes a couple of years of practice to master a language. I can guarantee you that most of them know no other languages besides English. They never will know any other languages and travel judging by the low IQ comments here.
You're a full time traveler, you're supposed to master the languages of all the country you visit and make videos? Lol ridicilous, I've never seen such demanding fan. A lot of them underestimate the amount of work that goes into doing travel content full time. You only show the fun side. Hi Auston! I discovered your channel today. I like that you seem pretty laidback and patient with non English speakers!
    A few comments:
I find it super funny the way you have mate 😂 but it’s great that you like it. We Uruguayans love it, our daily healthy boost of energy.
You are supposed to carry a thermos with hot water as well but at this point you may have seen many locals doing it …
People may be scared of you speaking English but not of your skin color. That’s not an issue in my country.
Remember those dirty waters correspond to a river, the Rio de la Plata which flows into the ocean. For clearer waters you should visit Maldonado which is a department (like your states) to the East. Anyways, we adore our kilometers of beaches along Colonia, Montevideo, Canelones, Maldonado and Rocha which are all free.
I love watching foreigners’ channels visiting my country.

You can do it 100% free but I dropped like $50 on Udemy and it literally got me a $100k job in the bay area. That's one example, other people do it via social media marketting etc. But get yourself a 100k job, save money and travel the world. Well u definitely did your best. Having observed these women i will say they remind me alot of those in spain. To be honest, they seem relatively cold and grumpy. Has nothing to do with your approach, but thats how they are. Definitely different than those in brazil, who smile more and simply are more communicative.
One thing u may wanna experiment with though:
    1. Try to see the difference if you commence in english and only afterwards switch to spanish. Most women there will assume you are brasilian from the moment you try to speak portuguese and given how u look. Starting in english may immediately give u an edge. Most likely they wont be able to respond back in english, but u can always switch to spanish.
    2. The contextual questions are fine. But asking where the gym is etc at one point in time will be reciprocated with a clear answer and then the chat is over. At least that is how it seemed on the vlog. Just transition to more personal questions. Like, the girl who said the gym is in front. U proceeded with thanking her and moved along. It was actually a chance to ask her if she goes there. If she says no, u ask, where SHE goes to gym etc etc.. and if she says she dont go to the gym u crack a joke and ask if she prefers the bar and whether u can go with her. u gradually hit her with more (direct) personal questions. Thing is, she seemed to be into u, but the chat remained stuck on the gym , which u were not interested in anyways. Dont know if u were feeling her or not, but she would have given the digits for sure

Yes, definitely Uruguayan women or people in general aren't as easygoing as Brazilians. But at least we are more honest and direct. Its more of an European mentality. If we like you, we like you. If we don't, we won't fake it. Well, I know everyone is different but that's the general idea.
